Dear Father (WMMAP / Who Made Me a Princess)

Chapter 3

Alone in the garden, Athanasia still wept as she gather the mangled flowers that was stepped earlier by her father. Probably because her father is not in the mood, that's why he did such things, or he's stressed from his work. Then when she looked at the golden flowers, some of it are still not crushed.

"Should I leave some of it by the entrance hall?" the blonde Princess asked herself then to her surprise she heard rustling behind her

She steps back scared wondering what if a beast is behind the bush but she felt at ease when it's not. It's a boy, somewhat similar to her age, he looked around as if he's looking for someone then his eyes met hers.

"....Ah... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. Blessings and Glory upon the Obelian Empire" the young boy walked to her and bowed

Athanasia suddenly wiped the tears on her eyes then turned to the boy in front of her

Now that she had a look on the boy, he has lots of leaves and twig debris on his clothes, his hair is also a mess and his right cheek has a reddish small cut on it.

"Uhm, Are you okay?" Athanasia asked looking at his wound. And that made the boy surprised then covered his wound

"Ah, this. I must've caught on a branch" replied then he looked down to see she's carrying Flowers.

"Then that must get treated immediately." Athanasia suddenly held the boy's hand and started to lead him at the opposite side of the Palace

As she gently pull his hand, Ijekiel can't help but wonder why the Princess is alone with a bouquet of flowers on her and the state of those Flowers...

They look like it was stepped on....

"Was she perhaps bullied by someone in the Palace?" He speculates but it seems impossible since she's a Princess and the way her shoulders are down that time.... "Was she crying?"

"Princess, I'm really alright, there's no need for you to worry about me. It's just a scratch." He assured but Athanasia didn't stop walking, she's just quiet then he realized where their destination when they arrived

"I heard from Father that the Emperor has been ignoring the Princess in the Palace as if she didn't existed, and that a rumor has been circulating that the Princess is not of a good character either, the reason why she is not close the maids in the Palace...." Ijekiel started to recall the news about the people's news, but when he saw the Princess he was not easily convinced by her actions

Or did she knew the moment she saw him and recognized him that he's from a powerful family?

It was easy to recognize them because of their Silver Hair and Golden Eyes....

Did she did this out of good will or to gain my favor?

Suddenly they arrived at the Red colored Palace that seems worn out and because of how famous this place is because of its history, the young man suddenly recognized that it's the Ruby Palace

"Princess? We've been looking for you, where have you been?" Suddenly a slim lady ran towards her then began inspecting her arms and face and her face suddenly paled when she saw me holding her hand

"Oh my Lord..." she covered her mouth in awe "Princess, he is?"

"Lily, he's hurt. We should treat him immediately" she begged to her to which she easily give in but for her to be worried over a mere wound

The maid turned to him and examined his cheek "you're right, I will get the medicine box, the two of you should get inside" she smiled at the two and swiftly walked away in a hurry
