Cayden walked home limping as usual
He gets beat up because he's gay... And black his mom tried to talk to him like she always does but he just ignores her and goes to his room

He then takes out all of his homework and textbooks and organizes his desk
He then goes in to the bathroom that's connected to his bedroom he gets rid of the clothes he had on and gets in the shower

He looks at himself in the anti fog mirror in his shower and he counts his new wounds or 'battle scars' as principal king tells him

Principal king is a tall green eyed blonde haired woman she's always extra nice to Cayden be cause of his situation she even lets him eat lunch with her

Cayden got of of the shower feeling ten times better he got dressed and he did his homework

By the time he finished dinner was ready his mom made some fancy dinner to impress Cayden's father which didn't work out for her because his dad wasn't home

Cayden's mom is trying to start conversation "Cayden baby, I know you're having a hard time at school and all but I'm your mother, you should talk to me." She said desperate to get the mother son connection that they once had

Cayden looked up and smiled and shook his head "why won't you leave him mom? He's hurting you and you know it! He's probably at his job fucking his boss again!" Cayden was fuming he meant every word

The words he spat were dripping with venom "Baby he's not doing any of that, please just have a conversation with your mama." His mom said

Cayden looked at her knowing she wouldn't give up "Okay, okay how was your day, Mom?" Cayden said being nice to his mother for the first time in two years

Cayden's mom looked happy, happy that he wasn't talking about his father anymore "it was good I had an amazing day at work, oh your aunt Deborah baked some delicious brownies so I brought you some!" She said

Cayden's stomach started to hurt "No, mom I'm okay I'm full I'm gonna go to bed." He said his mom was disappointed but she didn't want to make him feel worse so she responded with a quick 'goodnight' and left him alone

Cayden went upstairs and went to his laptop where he finished the rest of his essay and turned it in and he went to sleep Happily
