Another lecture begins, but it is during a pretty bad storm. When Shimoda-sensei's connection cuts off, the other students, especially Kanae, are worried about his whereabouts. Daichi however plucks up the courage to start a conversation. He compares the virus to a bunch of war bombs, and during his rants, he apologizes for "ranting in front of a lady" (directed towards Kanae). Kanae blushes and the two keep chatting until Shimoda-sensei gets back online and continues with the lecture. The members of the club now have to think of campaign ideas, and during the process, Daichi asks Kanae for her number as he wants to keep in touch with her.
