almost every other day, Ruel and i had woken up at 6am precisely, to drive down to the beach and watch the sunrise.
we had already packed a picnic basket with tons of snacks, the night before. so when our alarm went off, we immediately got dressed.

we walked a few meters and found a nice spot to watch the sunrise go from a deep orange to yellow, pink then purple. and do nothing but sit there for hours on end, talking and gazing into each other's eyes.
