Amethyst's POV🌸

I need to pee
I opened my eyes and looked to my left out of habit and saw Roberto sleeping on his stomach. That's when the even from last night came back to me

Oh shit
I quickly sat up and looked at the alarm clock and it's 3:14

Oh my god!!!
"Get up!" I pushed him off my bed and he landed with a thud

"What the hell?!" He said with a groan

"Get out of my house now" I said as I was putting on my black dress from yesterday or this morning

"What?!" He got up and picked his boxers from the floor and wore it

"You heard me" I said picking up his remaining clothes and shoved it in his hands 

"Come on Amethyst I can't pretend that this did not happen"

"But I can..please leave" I opened the door to my bedroom
He got out of the room angry and I followed behind him till we reached the door

"Amethyst you can't deny what we did or the attraction we still have for each other please just—"

"Please leave" I opened the door

He sighed "Ok...is Wednesday still on" he asked with hope in his eyes

"I think not it's probably best right now. Roberto please leave I really do not want to see you right now and I still have to wake up again to prepare the kids for school...plus I need to think"

"Fine!" He stomped out angrily towards his car and drove off
I made sure he really left and closed the door

I sighed "I need to get birth control pills"  I mumbled to myself
I went back to my room plopped on my bed and was out like a light.

I just came out of the pharmacy right now and I got the birth control pills. I was so disoriented this morning that I didn't even take the kids to school I told the driver to take them. I really cannot risk anything happening I can't even believe I made that mistake

I opened the door of my car and someone called my name I turned and saw Garret

"Hey Amethyst good morning a coincidence to find you here" he said approaching me

"A coincidence? Are you following me Mr Cavill?" I added a playful tone to my voice

He laughed "Of course not I just saw you from across the street and came over. What are you doing at the pharmacy?" He was now standing in front of me
The door was still open so I put the bag inside and closed it

"You know stuff...I should ask you the same thing,where are you going?" I don't want to get into detail

" I was coming over to Amy's buffet to see you actually" He said scratching the back of his head nervously

I smiled "How cute,you can follow in behind me I was just going there"

"Yeah see you there" I got into my car and started driving to working into my rear view mirror once in a while to see if he is following,but really he knows the place already?. So I just stopped and just drove to my restaurant I parked and he pulled up beside. We walked inside and excused myself I went to my office and took the birth control pills. I can't take any chances. But after that everything went on pretty good and I pushed all the worries about the possibility of me being pregnant to the back of my mind

Me and Garrett talked and talked like we knew each other for ages and I realized that I might actually like Garret. I really do not know my emotions right now. Roberto came back and as he came back all those old feelings came back like he was never gone, like he never broke my heart and in comes Garret and when I'm around him I feel like a teenager that has a crush I get butterflies when he speaks,I rehearse the words I'm going to say to him in my mind before I say it and I'm just realizing

Before you know it it's closing times and I told Kendall to lock up,I couldn't pick up the kids today so I called my driver to pick them. I came out of the restaurant laughing at what Garret is telling me

"I can't believe you got pranked like that I'm sure you were pretty bulky when you were in high school, people were not afraid of you?" I said laughing towards my car

"Believe it or not I was pretty lanky as kid I was teased about it all the time" He said also laughing

I reached my car and turned to him "Thank you for spending the day with me I haven't laughed so hard in a long time

"Me to it was nice to be here with you" He smiles and leaned in and cupped my left cheek with his hand

"You're so beautiful" He whispered to himself

"I know...thanks" I said giggling nervously

He leaned in and as his lips hovered over mine I closed my eyes I waited a bit but nothing happened I opened my eyes and saw him looking at me he smiled and licked his lower lip and remover his lips are still very close to mine so as he licked his bottom lip it was like a ghost of lick on my lips. Is it hot in here?

"Another time"He whispered  and kissed my cheek  "Bye Amethyst" He said as he was walking to his car leaving me there stunned I quickly got into my car and banged my head on the steering wheel and groaned. I'm acting like a f***ing teenager. Is it that he wants to make me want him?...or...I don't even know. I'm acting like I didn't just have sex with my ex husband yesterday. I just sighed and started driving home

Garret's POV(surprise!!!)
After he left Amethyst

I'm here at the old diner my sister and I meet up

I sat at an empty table and waited for her I guess I was too distracted on my phone to notice her come in until she sat in the seat opposite me

"My dearest sister how has life been treating you,I heard you got pregnant" I said still not looking up from my phone

"Half sister....is the plan working? Are you wooing her?" She asked

"Of course" I looked up from my phone " No one can resist my charms" I gave a short smile and went back to my phone

"Did she talk about me?" She asked

"Summer she won't find out I'm here to make sure of that

"Did she talk about me? She asked angrily

"You ask this question everyday and the answer is still the same. No she did not" I said tiredly " Why do you keep worrying I told you I'm here to handle it. She won't recognize you" I sighed she should just stop worrying

"She can't recognize me....I can't risk it"
