Gone (Chapter 19)

Leah's P.O.V~

"Get away from me!" I shouted while pushing at his chest. No matter how hard I pushed, he wouldn't bugde. James pinned me against the wall after taking me in the room Cole was in, he was still asleep and I tried sitting next to him but James wouldn't allow it. Who is he? My father? Yeah right. "Get the hell off of me!" I shoved again.

"Stop fighting!" He growled out. My body came to another unwantung stop by his power. James' eyes flashed red and then back to green. Even though I couldn't move a single muscle I still tried to fight him off. "I'm sick of your weakness! I'm glad you're gonna be turned in front of Cole."

I sucked in a sharp breath. "No! You will not turn me in front of him!" I tried pushing again but my arms were glued to the wall, and my body.

A loud growl erupted from within his chest. "Don't tell me what to do! I'll do whatever I want with you!" Okay eww, no he can't.

"No you can't!" I spit in his face and smirked. Serves this àss right. No one controls me. James closed his eyes, his breathing increased, and his nails on my waist were digging into my skin. I'm sure it was deep enough to draw blood. Yeah maybe doing that wasn't the best idea. His hands released my waist and he slammed them beside my head, making a hole in the wall. Even though I was frozen already, I'm sure I just froze even more. I just disrespected the most powerful werewolf alive. That's a first.

James opened his eyes and they were dark red, his werewolf took over. I wanted to coward away and run, but his power was still controlling me. James growled when I moved my head to the side, because its the only thing I can move, so I ended up facing him again.

"I was planning on turning you later, but you pîssed me off." Before I could say anything, he grabbed my arm, by both sides, and threw me on the ground. My head hit the wooden floor hard and my elbow. I groaned in pain and tried to get up but James came on top of me, grabbing my hands and pinning them above my head.

"Stop please! Stop!" I pleaded. My life will change, I won't be me anymore. I'll be a monster that kills. James laughed darkly, his eyes seemed to get even darker if that was even possible. They were already red, like really red.

"Get off of her!" A voice growled from the side of us, making me and James turn our head to see Cole struggling to get free. His wrist were tied on the headboard with silver handcuffs. Can't he break them off? I saw James smirk from the corner of my eye.

"Look who's awake, you chose the right time wake up." James looked down at me, an evil gleam in his eyes. "Your mate was just about to become one of us."

"Leave her alone! I'll do anything James! Just please let her go!" Cole said desperately. I knew he didn't want me to be turned, but why would he say he wanted a werewolf mate a long time ago?

"Cole please stop, don't do anything stupid." I tired struggling in james' grip but it only seemed to tighten.

"That's the thing Cole, I don't want anything from you. I only want to turn your mate, your weak human mate, into one of us. You know you wanted that from the beginning so why are you changing your mind all of a sudden? She's human, and you hate humans, most of the people you killed back then were human." I stiffened under James' hold. He killed humans?

"Leah please don't listen to him, he's trying to manipulate you, he wants to turn you because he wants to get his revenge back on me, don't listen to a word he says." Cole spoke truthfully. It made me believe him, and I did. I've known Cole for a couple days, almost a week, and he never seemed the kind of person to kill a human being without a reason. Everyone has a reason for doing something and if not then they just did it.

"Why does he want-" I stopped talking when James growled on top of me. His teeth extracting into sharper ones, nails growling longer on my wrist, bones cracking all over, his body started to change fast. He's turning. I struggled to get free but his hold on my wrist tightened. There's gonna be a bruise after.

I screamed after he changed seeing his big black wolf on top of me growling. No, I don't want this. If only I didn't move here a long time ago and go to the school I go to with Cole, then I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be in this situation right now. But if I didn't move here and go to that school, I wouldn't have met Cole. I do love him but would he love me after I have turned into a monster? Maybe...just maybe.

Before my mind could process what was happening, James' teeth sunk into the left side of my neck. Pain shot throughout my body but mostly my neck. I could faintly hear Coles growl come from the bed but they seemed to fade even more the longer James didn't release me. At one point, I was screaming loud and a lot, but it soon stopped because I could feel my body begin to drift off. I wanted to stay conscious but my body needed to give out for a few hours. If I come back.

The last thing I heard before I drift off into a dark sleep was Cole struggling against the headboard and four little words that made me smile weakly.

"I Love You Leah."
