THIRTY , EPILOGUE

it was finally the day of miley's funeral,
the day that charli has been dreading she
wasn't ready. she wasn't ready to face
the fact that she was actually gone.

getting ready charli whipped her tears
she finally cut off all relations with
chase so she can be a little bit more
independent for who she picks and
chooses who to hang out with, when
she heard her mom yelling from downstairs
telling her it's time to go charli grabbed one
of her little purses and put her phone into
it sighing once she saw a picture with
her and miley when they were little on
a frame by her door

"i'll always love you"she told herself
as if she was speaking actually speaking
to miley and walked out of the door after
turning off the light of her room.

it was about a thirty minute drive to
the funeral place that they was going to
have the reception. charli teeth were jittering
she was nervous she was one of the people
who were to talk about her and miley's
relationship.

making it to the place charli, her family,
jocelyn, chanel, and some of miley
close friends were there getting out
of the cars. charli took a deep breath
and started walking then jocelyn took
her hand and told her "i know you think
this is your fault but it's not. it isn't anyone's
fault charli okay? miley is in a better place
now and she's looking over us 'kay?" the
younger girl responded with a nod and
jocelyn took her into a hug.

they sat down at their seats and waited
for the person to talk about what was
happening at the moment and then
it was her turn to talk. charli at first
being reluctant walked up to the stand
and began talking.

"hi um i'm charli d'amelio i'm Miley's
ex" she spoke as her voice started cracking
signaling that she was about to cry "I've
knew miley since the first grade and we
has been best friends ever since. getting
older i did not know of the crush that miley
had on me i was oblivious of it and when
i got my heart broken from one of my
first loves she was there for me through
the whole thing"

charli started hiccuping then continued
talking "after a while i realized i had feelings
for her but i was a bad girlfriend, i didn't
treat her the way she should've been and
i wish i could turn back time or at least
tell her i'm sorry for all the and- and miley
if you're listening i'm so so sorry and that's
sincerely thank you for listening" and
she walked off crying into her sisters
arm "it's okay its okay you did good,
she loves you forever and always" dixie
told her.

and that was the last she seen miley or so
she thought.

"what are you guys looking at?" they were
shocked they saw her "MILEY??" "uh yeah?
the doctor told y'all the wrong person i'm
okay" she told them and they ran up to
her and gave miley the biggest hug

"don't ever scare me like that again bitch"
Jocelyn said to her crying "awww you
guys were crying for me you loveeeee me"
miley spoke teasingly

THREE AND A HALF YEARS LATER

"hi welcome to dunkins' i'm Nora" the
girl told charli as she walked into one
of her most favorite establishments
she was feeling good today and she decided
to get dunkins.

looking up charli saw her;

it was deceiving her but it wasn't she was
still there
