I slowly pull up to a luxurious gated home. Butterflies had erupted in my stomach. I was afraid this was going to happen.

David had given me his number over DM and told me to text him when I was here.

Me: hey i'm here!

I lock my phone and grab my things.

David: i'm opening the gate!

On cue, the gate begins sliding open. The first thing I notice is the white Tesla sitting in the driveway.

I make my way through the gate, when a smiling David Dobrik comes around the corner. The black jeans, black long sleeve, and vans are his staple and he never fails.

"Amber!" He says excitedly.

"Hi David!!" I reciprocate the emotion, and I'm actually really happy to finally meet him for real.

I open my arms for a hug, and he's somewhat taken back.

"I'm a hugger." I smile weakly, hoping I didn't just ruin everything.

"Okay good," He says going in for the hug. It's warm and soft, like I'm hugging a teddy bear. "I was going to hug you but I didn't want to make you feel weird."

"No weirdness over here," I put my hands up as we pull apart from the hug. "Well, maybe a little."

He laughs. I love his laugh, it's contagious. His tongue sticks out slightly between his teeth and it makes me smile.

"Well, I'm really glad we could finally do this." He says. "C'mon, I'll give you a tour of the house!"

I begin following him inside, closely. "You would not believe the amount of requests I get for me to do a collab with you and the rest of the squad." I chuckle.

"Same!" He says. "But with you obviously."

There's the obviously again.

"This is the entry hallway." He says as we walk through the door. "Very exciting stuff."

"Very," I laugh quietly.

"This is my kitchen." We move to the left to view the kitchen area with a bar and some nice barstools.

"This is my baby." He rubs the felt on the pool table just to the right off the kitchen.

"Aww," I purse my lip. "I can see the resemblance."

David laughs and runs his fingers through his messy brown hair.

"This is the living room." He motions his hand to the large room containing the biggest white couch I've ever seen.

"I never thought you'd be the type to have a white couch." I say.

"Why?" He asks.

"Uhh, do I need to even explain?" I chuckle.

He laughs again. I would say it's an honor to make THE David Dobrik laugh, but that man laughs at anything and everything.

He turns around quickly, almost tripping over himself.

"Want a gumball?" He points to the gumball machine I happened to miss as we were walking by.

"Only if I bite into it I win a new car." I joke. He laughs, again. Causing me to finally join in.

"Well lucky you, it doesn't even work." He puts his hands on his hips and chuckles.

"Shoot, I was really hoping for a new tesla." I throw my hands in the air. "Yeah, I don't think this is going to work out David."
