Chapter - 9

Frank POV

After a lot of grumbling (cough...Percy... Cough), we decided to go in the flight. Argus drove us there. The moment we boarded the flight, Percy, Thalia, Nico and Hazel gripped the seats tightly. Their faces were white with terror. Amy was a little green, but she relaxed after sometime. I was sitting near Hazel and Thalia. Nico was sitting with Percy and Jason. I felt sorry for both of them. They had to cope up with the son of the Skies.

Amy was sitting near Annabeth and Leo. Again, I felt bad for her. She had to keep putting out the fire whenever Leo got excited or scared, which was almost always. Piper had to squeeze in between Amy and Annabeth, because she wasn't up for sitting alone. I wouldn't have been either. After 6 hours of ADHD, we finally touched down to Port Angeles. All the demigods ran out, screaming "LAND!!! LAND!!!"

Percy and Nico kissed the ground, extremely relieved to be on it.

I chuckled, and Amy, for the first time since we met her, laughed. She didn't notice any of us staring at her as she started laughing. It was short, but it was a real laugh.

"Hey Anna...Where is our 'mansion' again?" She asked, after calming down.

"Who's Anna?" Thalia asked looking confused.

"Annabeth"

"Ooh...Anna.." Thalia started. She immediately stopped when Annabeth threw a glare in her direction.

"Only Amy calls me Anna. If anyone even dares to call me that.." She left the sentence threateningly.

I gulped, even though it wasn't directed at me. Thalia and Nico backed away, hands up in surrender.

Annabeth looked at a map, and then frowned. "Looks like we're going to be staying near the Cullens in the forest"

We sighed, and walked to an empty alley where no one would see us.

"Let's Shadow travel there" Hazel said. Nico frowned.

"But Hazel, I'm not sure we can shadow travel with the luggage"

"You didn't have me back then" Amy said, smiling.

I held hands with Hazel and Leo, and together we shadow travelled to our mansion.

Edward POV

I was exhausted from last night. That..that...Thing kept attacking us, and we still didn't know why. It was incredibly strong, and I loathe to say this, but we barely made it out alive. By 'we' I meant Alice and I. To top of the long list of 'annoying' we had about 10 new neighbors moving in right next to us!! How could they??? What if our secret was exposed???

Bella sensed my irritation and whispered softly.

"Don't worry Edward, we will fix this. We can. We just need more time"

I sighed, nodding. Apart from my family, only the wolves and Bella knew of this threat. No one else knew. We didn't want to draw attention to ourselves.

Guys, we need to be careful. I sense a mind reader among the Cullen's. Block your mind.

My head snapped up. How did that person know?? I looked around, and spotted 10, young, strong teenagers walking in the distance. I was shocked that they already sensed my power. More so, 2 of their auras were extremely powerful. I could vividly sense it from here.

"Hey..What's wrong?"

Bella asked. "One of our neighbors has figured out my power" I said, still reeling on the inside.
