So today my mom is taking me to school. She didn't want to send me to school for a couple days but today is the day I'm going back. I get dressed in a white sweater and dark wash jeans. I roll up my sleeves and start putting makeup over my cuts while searching my laptop. I decide to order the pills. They are $50 a container. I use my credit card information to order them. They should be in my mailbox in a couple days.

"Ariana! Breakfast is ready!" calls my mom from the kitchen.

I shut my laptop, slip on my black converse, grab my purse, and run down stairs. I grab my hot pocket and start eating it as I pour orange juice into my glass.

10 minutes later I arrive at my school.

"Love you honey," my mom says as I shut the car door.

As I walk to my locker unconfidently. I see the cute guy glance at me from the corner of my eye. I give a little smile in case he is still looking at me. I hear his footsteps behind me as I get to my locker.

"Hey Ariana, Mr. Allard told me to give these assignments to you from when you were absent. They are due this evening."

Oh my gosh he's talking to me. I look into his beautiful green eyes for a second, then I look down and mumble,"thanks."

"No problem."

He hands me the papers and I reach for them. He looks down at my arm. Damn it. I quickly cover my scars with my sleeves. He looks at me, smiling no longer. I feel an emptiness inside. I look down. He grabs my face to put my chin up. He hugs me gently. A tear streams down his face. I'm surprised. Why is he crying? Why does he care?

I have a puzzled look on my face.

He whispers, "I'm here for you."

The bell rings. We walk in the same direction then realize we have the same class next. He looks at me.

"But you're beautiful! Why?"

I blushed, but didn't smile.

"I know you're lying. You only want to be a good person."

"You want to know something Ariana, I would rather marry a beautiful person over an ugly person."

"What's your point?"

"I would rather marry you over that girl right there."

He pointed to a really pretty girl.

"But that doesn't make sense. You said you'd marry me, some fat girl, over that perfect girl."

"That's my point. That girl over there is a jerk. You're beautiful and sweet. I don't give a crap about looks. Even though you are really pretty."

Oh my gosh. Oh. My. Gosh. I smiled.

"Hey I never got your name," I said.

"It's Matthew."

Could this day get any better!? Wait til he sees me skinny!

"I never got your number," he said.

"Hahaha!"

We exchanged numbers and sat together at lunch.

"Can I call you Ari?" Matthew asked as I took a bite from my stomach.

"Sure. Actually, I like that nickname."

"Hahaha," Matthew laughed. His laugh is so hot.

"Can I call you Matt?"

"Sure. Actually, I like that nickname," Matthew mocked me in a polite way.

I smiled.

"Hey, why did you call yourself fat earlier?"

"Because I'm fat. Why else?"

"But you're not fat! What are you like 100 pounds?"

"I'm 120." I said quietly

"And that's fat?!"

"I'm a size 7 in jeans!"

"You just have a butt then! But seriously you're perfect for your height. Maybe you want to be like other girls but don't. You're perfect the way you are."

I laughed, but I didn't smile. Then I looked down. Matt put his finger under my chin to and put my head up. He looked into my eyes and got close. He was gonna kiss me- but he didn't.
