The next day Marinette was back at school "We were so worried about you girl" Alya panted, as she ran towards her "We thought you would be Akumatised.
"Its fine Alya, I'm okay" Marinette replied "I think I will be able to change my feelings for Adrien at last"
Unluckily, Adrien chose that moment to arrive "Marinette" he said "What happened yesterday-"
"It is fine Adrien" She cuts him off "It doesn't matter"
"Marinette I Lo-"
"Adrien, Kagami is a very nice girl and you are perfect for each other. I rather get going now" Marinette walks away not knowing that the one she loved, loves her, not knowing that she was breaking Adrien's heart.
As for Adrien it was as if his dreams and hopes were crushed by her words. But he was not going to give up. She was the girl he loved and life would always incomplete without her.
He ran to the class after her. Adrien found her sitting alone as Alya and Nino were together. "Mind I sit here" he said.
"Of course, you may" Marinette said as she stood up and walked over to sit with Nathaniel
"I messed up again and now she likes that Tomato-head"
"Don't worry I have the perfect plan for you."
Adrien gasps in shock to see Lila beside him
"Let me get to the point. We girls can never hide our emotions. So if want to know whether Marinette likes you or not..." Lila moved closer to Adrien
"What is it Lila?" Adrien coldly pushed her away
"My price looks so charming now. What I meant was, if Marinette really likes you she will get jealous if she sees you with some other girl..... I wouldn't mind being that other girl"
Adrien looked at her suspiciously.
"You can trust me" Lila crooned
Adrien looked Marinette" I am doing everything for you Marinette" Adrien whispered as he smiled at Lila.
"Perfect" Lila said.
