So until August 9 comes around, we're left to wonder on who will be Beerus' opponent in Death Battle. And here are the most possible choices:

Hades (Saint Seiya): Huh, never even thought about that. But last I checked, Saint Seiya characters are Multiversal levels, and not even Zeno could match that easily.
Thanos (Marvel): Nah, it's like the same reasons with Hades. With the Infinity Gauntlet, Beerus can't even Hakai Thanos. Without it, well, you get the picture.
Sailor Galaxia (Sailor Moon): Both possess destructive capabilities. And one of my dream matches since we finally get to see a Sailor Moon character appear.
Jean Grey/Phoenix (Marvel): Same as above. Another dream match.
Arceus (Pokemon): I feel this is the most POSSIBLE match as it's the battle between Gods of Creation versus Destruction. Another dream match.
Bill Cipher (Gravity Falls): I really don't know how strong Bill is, but reality warping might be too much for even Beerus.
For me, Galaxia, Phoenix and Arceus are the most preferable opponents for Dragon Ball's God of Destruction
