in the last chapter...

Well, I didn't talk to every pillar there, come to think of it.

Tokitou wasn't even there.

-

Apologies, no quote this time. I can't find anymore good ones- Oops.

-

It was nice, getting to talk to the pillars there, but the question stuck with me the whole time. Where was Tokitou?

I went around looking for him, and I ended up going to Gyomei, because him and Tokitou hung out a bit.

"Hey, Gyomei-San?" I called for him and he turned around. "Oh, greetings, L/N-San. What is it?" He questioned and I looked away.

"Um.. I was wondering if you have seen Tokitou at all..?" I questioned and Gyomei looked as if he was thinking.

"The last time I heard from him, he was going to take a walk in the wisteria forest over there, you see?" He pointed and I nodded with a smile.

"Okay, thanks!" I waved at him and he waved back with a tiny smile before I started walking over to the wisteria forest.

I always admired the wisteria trees- they were so beautiful and almost made me calm every time I walked through wisteria trees, as I knew I would be safe there as the demons avoided wisteria flowers.

As I walked through, with the help of my sword, I heard footsteps in front of me. I paused for a few seconds, and while I was still, a familiar walked across the path. I quickly recognized him.

"T-Tokitou-San!" I called out and his head slowly turned to me, his eyes wide. "Huh...? L/N-San...?" He spoke in a mumble and paused before running towards me and enveloping me in a tight hug. I fell backwards, yet Tokitou's arms still wrapped around me tightly.

It was a peacful silence before Tokitou muttered an apology, than let me go as he looked at me. "I-I didn't think you were gonna wake up!" He exclaimed. I was a bit shocked, to say the least.

"H-Hey- Why..?" I stammered and he gave me a confused look.

"Huh? Why what?"

"You've... never shown this much emotion before...?" I tried to explain and he nodded intently.

"Right, um.. My memories came back, actually." He stated and my eyes widened.

"Huh? Your memories? Really? How?" I asked and he looked off. "Hm.. well, if I remember right- it was when you appeared on the demon- You shouldn't have done that." He shook his head at me.

"Well, the demon is dead and I'm alive, so-"

"Yeah, but coming to see if you woke up everyday for three months.." He sighed lightly, saying nothing more. I cocked my head. "You came everyday? I'm sorry..." I muttered.

Tokitou looked up at me with a small, rare smile. "It's fine. I'm glad you're alright."

My face turned a bright red at the sight of Tokitou's rare smile. "I-.. T-Thanks."
