We are travelling to the City of Bones. Jace, Clary, Alec and I. It is basically a Shadowhunter graveyard as well as the home to the Silent Brothers or at least what I have gathered from the codex. The moment we stepped into the graveyard I had an uneasy feeling that I was being watched. I shook it off as my uneasiness of the place we were currently standing in.
"So what is the plan again?" I ask looking at my sister who didn't even spare me a glance. I frown at this ever since she had told me that mom was gone she has just ignored me unless it was to complain to all of this on how her mother was missing and it had only been 5 hours since she woke up and was walking around the institute. Jace rolls his eyes at my statement honestly he was actually such a nice person the two days Clary was still asleep but the minute she woke up he changed. He was wrapped around her finger.
"We are here so we can find out what happened to my mom." She snapped which actually shocked me. She never raised her voice at me. News flash Clary she is my mom too I wanted to say but I didn't. Hand in hand her and Jace walk off together in front of us.
"Together we stand divided we fall. Honestly lovebirds if you don't want to be apart of our team all you had to do was say." I mutter causing Alec to chuckle at my remark until everything turns serious again. A man in parchment robes approaches our group. As he approaches us I see his facial features. I gasp and as a result receive a sharp nudge to the ribs from blondie.
"Clarissa Adele Fairchild. Celestse Luna Fairchild. Jonathan Wayland and Alexander Lightwood please follow me." A haunting voice says in my head. I notice Alec giving Jace a look which is all too familiar to me. Wow this guy is not playing it subtle. I smirk as I realise I am literally stuck in one of those tragic love triangle stories except it is more complicated. We follow the silent brother into the darkness. Into the City of Bones.
