Naira is seen reading a novel sitting on the bed when Shorvari calls her.
Shorvari: Naira beta...!!
Naira closes her novel and gets off the bed immediately.
Naira: Ji chachi....
She wears her slippers and goes to the living room.
Naira: Ji chachi ji....aapne bulaya?
Shorvari: Haa beta...zara bazaar jaake is hafte keliye ration le aaogi? Dekho na tumhare chacha ji abhi tak office se wapis nahi aaye...aur woh dukaanwala sirf 9 baje tak apni dukaan khuli rakhta hai!
Trisha was hearing their conversation sitting on the study table so she interrupts Shorvari.
Trisha: Maa....di ko itni raat ko akele bahar kyun bhej rahi ho? Ration toh kal bhi aa sakta hai na?!
Naira: Koi baat nahi hai Trisha...abhi tak hulchul hai bahar...main yu gayi aur yu wapis aayi...tu padhai kar!
Trisha: Nahi di aap akele aise bahar nahi jayegi...main aapke saath chalugi!
Trisha stands up from her seat.
Shorvari(scolds Trisha): Jahan hai wahin baithi reh...suna nahi teri di ne kya kaha? Chup chap padhai kar
Trisha makes a face and sits back on her seat.
Shorvari turns towards Naira.
Shorvari: Naira beta...yeh list hai aur yeh bag...sambhal ke jaana, theek hai?
Naira: Ji chachi...
Naira walks away and Trisha looks at her retreating figure worriedly.

Suhasini is seen watching daily soaps on TV and eating chips.
Bahu(On TV): Aap nikal jaiye is ghar se...waise bhi kuch kaam toh karti nahi hain! Din bhar sirf hukum jatate rehti hain...ab yeh ghar aur yeh tijori ki chabhiyan meri hain! Aur......Romil bhi mera hai!
Saas(On TV): Aisa mat bol beta...main budhi ho chuki hoon! Kahan jaungi....tujhe jo karna hai woh karna ab se...main bilkul nahi tokugi tujhe! Romil...beta isey samjhana!
Romil turns his face away.
Suhasini(gritted teeth; munching on chips): Khoteya!!!
The Saas looks at both of them helplessly. She turns back, picks up her suitcase and starts to leave the house.
"Yeh galiyan yeh chaubara
Yahan aana na dobara
Ab hum toh gaye pardesi...
Ki tera yahan koi nahi...
Ki tera yahan koi nahi"
Suhasini switches off the TV and starts crying.
Suhasini: Bechari saas.....usey kya pata tha ki jis kudi ko woh itne pyaar se apne puttar keliye layegi...wohi kudi usey beghar kar degi!
Suhasini continues crying and blows out her nose in her handkerchief.
She then wipes her tears and looks determined.
Suhasini: Lekin meri pota bahu aisi bilkul nahi hogi....main apne Kittu putarr keliye laakhon mein ek kudi chun kar laugi!
Just then, she gets a call from pandit ji.
