The next day you wake up a bit late causing you to rush out of bed and get ready quickly you walk into the gym right before they start practicing you compose yourself before flattening some flyaways you walk over to Yachi and Kiyoko and bow "I'm sorry I'm late" 

"you're fine y/n we would have woke you up but last night you looked really sore," Kiyoko said looking at you "also Noya-senpai said not to wake you up" Yachi adds making your face pink "oh well I'm still sorry" 

suddenly hand cover your eyes "guess who" you hear Noya's voice "hmm I have no idea" you giggle as you get turned around to meet Noya face to face he kisses your forehead "good morning y/n" he hugs you and you hug him back you hear a whistle blow and you kiss him "good luck Noya"

he smiles brightly and kisses you again before running onto the court getting asked questions by Tanaka and Daichi 

"so Noya and you huh" Kiyoko nudges you slightly you blush "y-yeah me and Noya" you smile as you look at Noya playing on the court 

Bokuto did one of his cross shots making Yachi look shocked and amazed at the same time "wow number 4 is really intense again today" you chuckle "when is Bokuto not like that he's always been intense"

a time out is called and coach talks to them "even if you can't stop Number 4's spikes at least try to touch it" "right" they all say in unison 

"oh right even if they can't stop it if it hits their hands the momentum becomes weaker," Yachi says or maybe asks Kiyoko "right there are two different strategies when it comes to blocking..." you zone out as Kiyoko explains the block types to Yachi 

"kill block as in murder," Yachi says nervously "Maybe," you and Kiyoko say with a smirk "but seriously there are only a couple people who have blocked Bokuto completely I've done it a couple of times but most of the times most people just try to touch the ball also I'm sure if Tsukki tries he has the ability to block him out completely just wait and watch" you walk back to the bench and wait for what's about to come

'Bokuto got scared'

you smirk seeing him switch from a hard hit to a feint "wow I thought he would have definitely come in with a hard hit just now to think it was a feint nothing less from a national-caliber ace player" coach Ukai smirks next to me I guess he noticed to 

"no sensei it wasn't a tactical switch Bokuto got intimidated he was nervous as he knew Tsukki was going to block him completely you could tell as soon as he jumped" you smirk looking at the two adult Coach Ukai nods to you impressed 

"Tsukishima is about to come out of his shell coach" you smirk as you stand up to go fill water bottles 

you, Yachi, and Kiyoko wait at the top of the hill for the boys when they run the hill they get to the top and you hand out water bottles you obviously give Noya his and he smiles and kisses your cheek making your face go red "Noya" you look down "aw are you blushing" he asks smiling "n-no it's just hot out here" you say crossing your arms "sure y/n" he kisses your other cheek and goes back to the gym 

"the further along we go the fewer mistakes we make and the smaller the point gap gets," Kiyoko says and you smile "yeah but we still need to drill the motions in their head," you say and she nods her head, 

a couple of games later Hinata blows up and Tobio "hey you just went easy on me didn't you" making you stand up from the bench he was yelling at your brother what were you supposed to do stand back "went easy, me? you really think I went easy" Tobio grabs his shirt "say that again" Tobio Threatens "take it easy guys" Daichi tries to intervene 

"Why should they Daichi he just insulted Tobio on no grounds he should teach him a lesson" you yell at Daichi getting irritated "just because Hinata is having a rough time doesn't mean the rest of us aren't so why does he get to pick fights on no grounds"
