~Harvey's POV~

Today is mine and Emma's 1 year. It's been the best year. We'd have a date night every other weekend. She'd stop over every now and then. Her bond with my family is amazing and so happy that they get on. Emma met our international friends when we went over to LA. They loved her, I knew they would.

I would be like most couples and take her to where we first met but I don't think a date in the middle of the street is safe. So I'm taking her to where we had our first day Nandos and bowling. We have a casual relationship we don't like going full out with candle lit dinners and a band playing close by. Even tho it's our one year as long as we are together that's all that matters

~Emma's POV~

1 amazing year. With an amazing person. I'm so thankful that me and mum moved next door. I haven't been this happy since ever. Today is our one year date and I'm so excited I want to make an effort but not a big one as we're going bowling. I'm not the biggest dress fan so I just stick with my ripped jeans. I worse my light blue washed out ripped jeans, with one of Harvey's old jumpers that I did a bit of diy work on, I cropped it and but a piece of elastic around the bottom that I can pull on to tighten. I did my makeup with a light pink eyeshadow and some lip gloss

I was finally ready for the date. Harvey was picking me up and by that I mean pulling out of his drive stopping outside mine to knock on my door. Wasn't my idea it was his!

I was waiting on Harvey coming to get me when a notification came through on my phone.

After I sent the text Harvey knocked at the Ford ready to go on the date.

"Hey, you re- woah you look good" he said looking me up and down

"Awh thanks bub you don't look to back your self" I said back blushing

We go in his car and we left to nandos where we sat at the same table from our first date. We ordered our food and talked about the most random stuff and how good our 1 year has been. We began to leave to bowling when we arrived we payed and went to bowl. As we walked into the alleys. All the memories from our first day flooded it. I was so happy for how far we have gotten.

While we were bowling Harvey was being an Idiot and shouting strike even if he didn't get a strike. Everyone was staring and we were standing laughing our heads off. He wouldn't listen to anyone when they told his to stop he kept doing it.

"STRIKE" Harvey shouted even tho the bowl landed in the gutter.

"Babe sshhh everyone already hates us" I was stood laughing at him running around in a circle.

Many complaints later we were asked to leave. We walked out laughing and we drove home. We dropped the car off at home and then walked down to the lake where Harvey asked me to be his girlfriend. If already night time and we had missed the sunset because Harvey was running around like a headless chicken.

We sat down on the grass and looked at the stars.

"Emma?" Harvey asked looking at me

"Yeah" I said still looking at the stars

"I love you" he said smiling I looked at his believe it or not this was the first time we said the L word

"I love you too" I said back

We went home and chilled in his room until sleep took over us
