"Ri Jeong Hyeok-ssi, I will never leave you okay?" I tell him while caressing his hair.
"I love you Yoon Seri." He says as he stares straight right into my eyes.

It was his first time telling me he loves me. Yeah he always makes sure that I will always feel his love for me but this time it's different. He told me those three words that I have never heard in my 20 years of living. I'm the only daughter of a rich business man so my life is quite far from normal. Everyone has high expectations of me. Especially my father. They never considered my feelings or what I really want in life. And Ri Jeong Hyeok was the first person to see me as Yoon Seri the 20 year old girl not Yoon Seri the heir to Queens Group. He made me feel things that I never thought I would feel and I would never feel them again. Because I left. I left him. I left them. I left the love of my life. Thinking about him will always pain my heart. It's been five years since I left and the pain is still there. And now I am the CEO of Queen's Group the thing I promised him I will never be. I will always love him till my last breath but he will just be a piece of my past. My thoughts were disturbed when I heard my phone ring. I saw the caller and I immediately answered it.

"Goodmorning Miss Yoon, did I disturb your sleep?" Seri's Secretary tells her.

" It's alright Martha, what's wrong? Why are you calling so early? Is there a problem at the office?" Seri replied anxiously waiting for her answer fearing a problem in her office at her day off.

"There is no problem in the office Ma'am but Chairman Yoon is asking for you. He said someone is waiting for you at his office." Martha says hesitantly knowing that her boss hates going to the office on her day offs.

"Okay, I'll get ready and head there." Seri says with a hint of sadness that her precious plans for her day off is ruined.

Martha Moore will never understand why her boss Seri Yoon takes a day off at only certain dates like today July 5, September 25 and September 30. She has been working for her for five years that she already memorized these dates. But she never once asked why.

Seri picks out her Gucci knee-length dress and her Burberry Heritage Trench Coat with her Valentino Garavani black pumps.

Seri arrives at her office giving the key of her Mercedes-Benz S-class to the valet. She can't help but feel anxious whenever her father calls her to his office because the last time she went there she left with a red cheek because her father slapped her when their company's stocks went down blaming her for every little thing their company faces. Seri knocks at her father's office feeling a litte better when she heard him laughing with someone in the room.

"Dad? I'm here. You called for me?" Seri nervously asks and her eyes meets a young man's eyes. She wonders who he was because she has never seen him before. Or did she? She attended a lot of parties that she doesn't even recall the faces of those she talked to let alone saw.
"Seri dear, sit down. This is Alberto Gu. He is British-Korean. He is your fiancée." John Yoon says with pride and happiness that his daughter will be marrying someone almost as rich as them.

When Seri heard the word fiancée come out of her father's mouth she felt all the color of her body leaving her. She wondered how much more pain will her father cause her life. Seri was so shocked she didn't say a word. Seeing Seri's reaction Alberto Gu asks her to join him for lunch desperate to talk to her about this marriage thing. Seri didn't say anything but motioned for him to lead the way. Seri felt that the whole world was against her. She remembered why she took a day off today and she remembered that her father got her engaged without her consent.
Today was her daughter's death anniversary. The stress eventually got to her and she started feeling dizzing before passing out.

Author's Note:
Hi!! This is my first story so please bear with me!! This is a riri fanfic so don't worry!! This story is set in the United States because I felt like it was easier for me to make the story that way because I know nothing about Korea and Korean's culture. But Seri and Jeong Hyeok are both Koreans. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed thinking about it's concept!! And Seri, Jeong Hyeok, Alberto are all 25 years old!!
