The bus jerks to a stop and my forehead slams into the back of the seat in front of me causing me to reactivate without rechecking my data. I rub the 'sleep' out of my eyes, pulling my hood up, and exit the bus, knowing this was my stop. I step down and thank the bus driver, giving him an extra tip. I head down the sidewalk with my hands in my pockets and playing (F\S) in my head as I do so. Thunder rumbles as I head to my destination accompanied with a light sprinkle making the walk a little more peaceful. I pull my hood back from my head letting the water soak my hair, and having the it trickle down my face, soothing my artificial sensory receptors with the cool liquid, feeling some of it run down my back, and being absorbed into my clothing. I sigh at the comforting feel, running my fingers through my hair unintentionally slicking it back with a bit of a shine from the water.

Soon the soft sprinkle turns into a heavy rain, soaking my clothes, and getting water in my shoes. But thankfully I see the soft glow of a lamp in my house.

It's not the best but it's not the worst place to live, just a simple old house that won't attract any prying eyes. I trudge up the steps and quietly unlock the door, opening it with ease. Fairy lights come on through the greenery, android butterflies and bees float into the air, and a large chow chow trots up to me panting happily. I drop my bag at the door, crouch down and run my fingers through the fluffy dogs fur as he licks at my face leaving a large amount of drool on my synthetic skin. I get up looking for my roommate, who's most likely in there room. I look in seeing the jittery android writing on his wall again. I let out a small laugh and nock on the door frame, causing him to jump at the sudden noise. "O-oh, It's just you. Ralph was surprised." he says shakily. I laugh again and walk by his side, patting his shoulder. "Sorry bud." I say cheerfully. I look up at what he's writing and cringe at them. In bold font the letters and number 'RA9' all making a large circle in a blue circle.

My model number...

Sighing I open my mouth. "What's that?" I ask obliviously. He shuffles awkwardly but answers. "I'm not sure.. I just feel like I need to write it." He says looking up at the circle with curiosity and concern in his eyes, matching with mine. I let out a nervous laugh, shaking his shoulder. "Well I might be on the news soon, ya wanna see?" I ask changing the subject. He nods and takes off his poncho looking thing revealing his work suit covered in blue ink and black chalk stains. "Ralph." I sigh looking at him. "Ralph may have not been thinking when he was drawing." He says nervously. He's gonna need a shower. I chuckle and grab him a grey sweater, a pair of blue jeans, and some boxers. I turn ,and toss the clothes at him. Barely catching them he looks up at me. "What are these for?" He asks shakily. I pat his shoulder with a stupid grin. "Ya gotta take a shower bud. How else are you gonna get cleaned up. Plus you've been needing it. I don't think you've had one since we met like two weeks ago." I say turning and walking to the door. "And.. Don't flood the house again dude." I say stopping in the door frame, letting out a small chuckle. He nods, whipping away chalk on his face. I pat the door frame before leaving, closing the door behind me.

I turn to the studio, a metal door with paint splatters and burn marks all over it from all of my idiotic and deadly experiments. Walking to the living room I grab my backpack, and walk back to the studio, dropping it over by the door, cans of paint spilling out of the bag. I flick the light on revealing a large room full of artwork, some of them un finished pieces or, sketches. I look at the one covered by an old towel, I take a peek, seeing it still needs to dry a bit. I put the towel down, and look around my room, enjoying the fairy lights in the greenery, and the android bees and butterflies flying around the corners in the room, some growing from a small pot hanging in the far corner. I flop onto my bed arms outstretched, letting my mind drift as I relax my gears, and listen to the pulse of my pump as I forces thirium through my synthetic veins. I hear the bathroom door open then close, letting me know Ralph was now in the bathroom about take a shower. Chow trots over and lays on my feet, they creak a little as he puts all of his weight on them.
