okaaaay so this is many a month on carter rewriting the original author's note.
i would like to make it abundantly clear that i dislike this book with my entire being. the only reason it's still up is because so many people seem to really like it and i know it sucks when your favorite fic gets deleted, so i don't want to run the risk of being the author who does that.
i think this book is gross. it romanticizes depression, it's inaccurate (which is scary and eye opening to me about myself), and it's just not well written. but if you like it, hey, cool dude. you do you.
anyways, before proceeding, keep in mind:
lotta lotta triggers !! tw for depression, suicidal thoughts/actions, self hate, and self harm. if you're sensitive to that go read something else of mine maybe??
