Connie and I watched the skins, while we stayed crouched down. We don't want to be seen. Who knows what they will do to us. If they spot us, watching them.

I looked up at the top of hilltop. My sister is just freaking out. She pulled out her binoculars and searched for us.

Kelly, Magna, Daryl, Tara, and Yumiko stood up on the look out area. No one spoke, everyone just watched the skins.

No one moved, until Tara finally spoke up.

"Our community is more than capable defending itself." We all waited for a reply. The second in between every reply feel like years.

"I show you my face, I mean no harm. I just want my daughter. I know you have her." Alpha told us, a smirk smudged across her dirty face.

"You should turn around. Leave now and no one gets hurt." Daryl threatened. He glared at Alpha. Daryl doesn't want to give Lydia back, because Alpha hurts her. I heard it while I was spying on them after Daryl and I fought.

"Wrong answer." Alpha raised her hand. More skins came out from behind the field. They all spread out along the open ground. I crouched as low as I could go. "Stay low. More coming." I told Connie. She nodded her head and crouched even lower. No one spoke. It's like everyone was communicating with their eyes.

Alpha wants her daughter.

And Daryl doesn't want to give her up.

Everyone started talking quietly to each other, they are making a plan.

"Did you kill our friends? We found their horses." Magna asked Alpha. My heart dropped at the question. Please be okay. Please.

"No! Which one of you leads these people?" Alpha asked them. My heart started racing. Luke is alive.

I turned to My sister. "Luke's okay." I smiled widely at the fact that he's okay. She smiled at me and nodded, turning back to the sick people.

"The hell's it matter." Daryl asked angrily. "I'll just address it to all of you." Alpha spoke up angrily.

"Your people crossed into our land, there will be no conflict. Your people killed our people, there will be no conflict. I'm done talking. Bring me my daughter or there will be conflict." What land? We didn't agree to any boarders, so what land? I watch intently, making sure to stay low enough because the nearest skin was a couple feet away.

Daryl got angry and left the look out area. The bottom doors of hilltop opened up and Daryl walked down the pathway. This could get him killed, or other people killed too.

Daryl walked right up to the safety gate. Alpha whispered to her people, two of them left the group and walked down the dirt path.

We crouched down farther down we wouldn't be seen.
