A Court of Friends and Family

A little hello!

Hi everyone!

I'm Aslan, and I thought I'd just write a little hello and talk a bit about this fanfiction before you dive in.

So hi! I'm from Canada and I have been obsessed with ACOTAR ever since I first read it back in April of 2019, and since then have decided that it is my dream above all dreams to play Feyre in the (hopefully) eventual ACOTAR movie adaptation. So we'll see about that, hahaha.

OKAY, I'm getting off topic, and I don't want to keep you here for too long, as I think we both want you to get to the actual fanfiction sooner than later.

SO––This fanfiction came to me in mixed up bits and pieces over the past several months, and I finally put it all together a little bit ago, fixing up POVs, tenses, and all the other important writing things so that I could deliver a good, wholesome feysand fanfic. And ultimately, this is a fanfiction about a feysand baby.

But before you officially go off into this little story I have crafted, I want to say a few things:

1. Apparently I enjoy figuratively ripping the hearts out of my favourite characters, and then piecing them back together. So don't worry, things will get better.

2. Without spoiling too much, I want to say that I feel I have done my best to accurately depict what goes on in this story. Because Feyre is fae, and not human, if some of the instances do not line up perfectly with how it would for a human, I feel that is okay. I have very little to go on as per what a pregnancy would be like for a mythical being with a crazy long lifespan, so from my research of human pregnancies, what we know of a fae female cycles (from ACOFAS), and my own wonderings, I think this works pretty well.

3. Finally, I do not consider this story too mature in any way, but I will give a minor language warning. The f-word is used a few times throughout the story, as well as a few instances of more minor swear words.
