"AC pounces on her purrrrey being careful not to scratch him" the small cat girl jumped into arkat as he walked into her cave . She sat on his chest and licked her paws while staring into his eyes. "You're doing this again?" The boy grumbled while staring back at Nepeta. "Aww come on, you won't roleplay with me Karcat?" She hopped off of Karkat to let him stand up. "Roleplay is dumb, I just came here to tell you something." Karkat said as her stood up and dusted off his soft gray sweatshirt. Nepeta stared back at Karkat in disappointment, "what is it?" She questioned as her tail perked up. Karkat turned away, frustrated , as he stretched out his arm Nepeta. In his hand was a white envelope , sealed with a gray heart sticker. She placed her hand on Karkat's for a second as she tried to grab the letter. Nepeta grabbed it and held it curiously in her hands. Karkat quickly announced, "It isn't from me! I found it but it was addressed to you, some "secret admirer" must've been real stupid on where they put their love letters" before Nepeta could open the mysterious envelope that didn't seem to be sealed with much care at all, as it looked almost half open or truly never closed at all besides the heart sticker holding everything together. Nepeta glanced at the heart sealing the card, it just so happened to be gray. Not that she cared about blood colors, but surely that was the blood color of her dear friend Karkat, the one she'd had a secret crush on for quite some time now. "Now do with that what you please, I have more important things to do" Karkat said before stomping out of Nepeta's hive. She thought about reaching her hand out for him but she was too distracted by the letter in her paws to pursue her thought. Just like that, Nepeta's crush was gone but her unrequited love for him still remained. She remembered his soft hair and his lovely eyes , she wondered what a world would be like when silly crushes weren't just silly, and that they truly meant something. Maybe this letter would be the answer to all her wishes. As the paper crinkled in between her fingers she started to pull at the edges of the letter to open it when suddenly a deep , grumbling sound came from Nepeta's stomach. She dropped the letter on the floor of the cave, she was already pre occupied with her hunger to catch an animal to eat to worry about silly love letters if they weren't from her beloved.
