White crimes always been on the rise,
Yet displayed at the bare minimum.

How can we sleep when we're still fighting wars,
That our ancestors already fought.
Lives being lost
By the shot of the Police guns.
I believed they were here to serve and protect.
But we're being killed with no chance to run.
Slaves had better odds of getting away during the masters sleep.
Apparently systematic murders run just as deep.

Unable to rest knowing what lies we were taught.

Feeling scorned by the sight of death and
So much pain.
Yet so many racists seem to feel no shame.
Claiming black lives are reason for their
Financial failures or lack of fame.
If inclusion seems to be a problem,
Then somethings wrong with the game.
Political scenes to kill, steal and rape the poor.
Maybe a failed government is what you should deplore.

Haunted by the strange fruit hanging from trees
Bare feet swinging feels much like the American dream
We never asked or aim to hurt.
We haven't pressed reparations, but we know our worth.
Equal rights over Gods green earth is all we ask
To breed a new birth.
It would be the birth of a brand new land
Where freedom would ring
And free we'd stand.
Where all brothers and sisters can live lovingly fist to fist and hand in hand. ✊🏿✊✊🏾✊🏻❤️
