Ray's POV
I waited in the bathroom for Jack to come back but I took a while I hear him on a call with some guy named Chase about locking up the doctor of last night,
I didn't want him to kill the doctor I thought I grab a toy I saw from the drawer and started blowing bubble having fun like never before this was new to me am happy.
I kept blowing bubbles then Jack came in and walked to me he raised he hand up I thought he was going to hit me so I flinched dropping the bubble blowing toy quickly to the ground and use my two hand to cover my face scared and shaky.
Jack's POV
I came after my call with chase I walked to the bathroom she was dried up playing with a toy but her hair wasn't
I walked toward her to reach for another towel in the cabinet when she dropped the toy and used her two hands to cover her face she was shaking and she looked scared
I was confused then realization hit me she thought I was going to hit her few minutes passed she realized nothing had made contact with her skin so she put her hand and head down I grabbed the towel and started drying her hair
"You actually thought I would hit you?" I said she said nothing but played with her finger not wanting to demand answers I just forget about what happened carrying her to the bed
"Are you going to kill that man" she said almost like a whisper
I didn't know what to say if I said yes she will be more scared than she already is and if I sat no she will think I don't care about what the doctor did to her
"I don't know yet Sweetheart" she accepted that answer but it looked like she was contemplating whether or not to ask that question
"W-when d-d-do I g-get-t to g-go home" she asked
After everything her psychotic parents did to her she still regard that dump as a home
"YOU STILL WANT TO GO BACK!!" I yelled
She didn't reply just sat there crying I was just confused about this girl I walked to my closet grabbing a white long shirt and short and gave it to her to change into
leaving to meet Chase to talk to the doctor of the events that happened last night, but before I left I instructed the guards to follow Ray where ever she goes don't need her getting hurt because I might be gone for a while
