The tunnel was a bloody mess after Scott dealt with the vicious undead. Splattered by their crimson innards, he emerged out of the darkness of the tunnel. Trickling of the rain outside splashed up from the ground made it easy to wipe the blood from Scott's clothes and weapons.
It only took a few steps before a sighting of footprints were spotted in the wet mud. It couldn't have been longer than an hour or so, if that. He peered around the area to check his surroundings. Just because he was going after specific enemies, it didn't mean others weren't coming after him. Scott walked down a nearby path and saw a barrel containing a fire inside it.
There was a small house behind the barrel, leaving him to hope that his mother was inside or at least the men that took her.
