Three days later

It's been a while since the whole arranged marriage thing went down.

I haven't spoken to my mom about it, but I know I'm going to have to go through with it. If it makes her happy. And if it keeps the company going, I guess.

I always had a feeling I would be in a situation like this. I would have a life that was all planned out for me.

It's currently 3 pm. I got off of work and I am heading home, getting ready for the dinner date with Jeongin. More like dinner.

I took a shower then did natural hair and makeup. We are going to a restaurant so I dressed a bit fancy. Not to much. Doesn't make me stand out

It was a tight plain black dress. He picked where we were going and told me the dress code

::

Jeongin:
"And we are here" he said as he parked the car

I look out the window to see a well lit modern restaurant

Y/n:
"Woah. This place looks very fancy. How did you-"

Jeongin:
"Don't worry about it, so let's go" he said as he went out to open my door

::

Jeongin:
"And I'll have the lasagna, thank you" we both gave our menus to the waiter

Jeongin:
"So?" He said as he looked at me. As if he is waiting for me to start a conversation I don't even start

Y/n:
"Uh hi?" I said awkwardly

Jeongin:
"Why did you leave us, leave me?" Now those words hurt

Y/n:
"It's complicated"

Jeongin:
"We have all night"

Y/n:
"Okay, but I will get to that part when we are alone. Okay?"

Jeongin:
"Okay fine. I can wait. So, can you just go around the part that is, 'complicated'?"

Y/n:
"Okay, that night at the park was the same night my mom and I had left to America."

Jeongin:
"America? Wow. Okay, continue"

Y/n:
"Honestly our lives just went on from there. I went to college and she continued her work their. She has another company their that's under the main one"

I looked at him to see if he is still listening

Jeongin:
"So did you go there for your moms job?"

I just looked at him with a slightly irritated face

Jeongin:
"I know, I know. You will get to that part later" he said with his hands basically in the air

Y/n:
"No that's not why we moved. But I guess it is why we picked America out of all places."

Y/n:
"She just has a lot of business there. You remember how she would always go to America on business trips right?"

Jeongin:
"Yeah I remember. Mostly because you would always bug me to come over because you were bored alone in your house"

Y/n:
"Hey our movie nights were fun" I whined

Jeongin:
"Yeah sure they were"

Y/n:
"Any ways, we moved back here in Korea around a year ago. I found a job as an assistant editor for a newspaper company"

Jeongin:
"That's great. Wait, you don't work with your moms company?"

Y/n:
"Well no. Business and stuff like that isn't really my thing you know"
