Rolling over to the side of the bed Eric was on, I didn't find him there. Holding the sheet to my body, I scanned the room looking for something to put on before going downstairs when the bedroom door opened. In walked Eric with a bag and a small smile. "Brought you some clothes, we can burn the other ones like you said you wanted to do." "Thank you." Kissing his cheek, I put on just a regular shirt, some shorts and some boots before Eric and I headed downstairs. Most of the mess from last night had already been partially cleaned. "Jessica! I said I would help!" I scolded her taking a can of blood from the fridge. "I know, but we wanted to let you sleep in a little more and you know...the fact that you almost died on us last night. Plus, there's still plenty to do tonight if you're feeling up to it." She laughed, throwing away some of the broken wood from the hallway closet. Regardless if I almost died or not last night, I still wanted to help. They had done everything in their power to help find me and I didn't want to just lounge around while they all cleaned up a mess that I had been a part of. "I'm sorry about the damage to your home." She waved it off. "Do you have a bucket and mop anywhere?" Pointing to a closet in the kitchen, I went and grabbed the materials out of it and filled the bucket. "Are you just going to stand there or are you going to help?" I asked Eric who stood there smirking.

It didn't take us very long to clean up what was left of the blood and wood, I had Eric move the kitchen table back where it went. Now, we just had to worry about the massacre over at that damn house. "Hoyt, we'll be back!" Jessica yelled before we took off into the night and over to what we all deemed 'hell house'. Flies had almost massed since last night but that's what happens in warm humidity with death permeating the air. The stench was horrible to our sensitive noses. "Do we just burn them all or should we bury them?" I asked Jess and Eric as he kicked an arm to the side. "Well, if we have too big of a fire won't someone call it in?" Jessica asked. "If you know the law enforcement around here, can't you just sweet-talk them? I mean, we are almost in the middle of nowhere so if anyone calls anything in it will be for smoke I'm guessing." heading for the house, missing the look they gave each other. Shrugging, Eric headed for the barn to find some fuel while Jessica and I began to pile the bodies in the house. "Let's see if we can find anything in there worth a damn." I said as we spanned out, digging through all the paperwork, bills, phones, anything we could find.

"I found the address to that house out near Shreveport." Eric said, flashing a power bill in his hands and an evil smirk. "Bunch of shit was under a floorboard. They probably thought we wouldn't find it. There's some burner cells, documents, money, IDs and these..." Eric pulled out two clips of UV bullets from his back pocket and tossed them onto what remained of the kitchen table. "You're shitting me." Jessica sighed and put a hand to her face. Taking the items from the hidey-hole we all went back outside. "Let's burn these fuckers and be done with it." I said, as we lit the cloth fuses we had placed around the house. The whole thing lit up the darkness as we stood and watched it all burn away with the fire taking a life of its own. I was surprised when Eric handed me the clothes I had worn and spoke about burning. His smile was gentle and gratefully I took them from his hands and threw them into the fire before us. I felt a slight wave of contentment wash over me. "Feels good doesn't it? Watching them all burn. Watching this whole place burn to the ground." Nodding with a smile, I wrapped my arm around Eric's side as we continued to watch. Right as we had turned to leave, we saw red and blue lights. "Fuckin' hell." Jessica said, Eric looked a little nervous, but I knew that if worse came to worse then I would glamour whoever it was, and we'd be on our way.

"Well if it ain't Jessica Fortenberry!" a good-looking young man hollered out exiting the vehicle with a smile. "Hi Jason." She said, giving him a wave; they must have been in good graces with one another to know names. "Oh Jesus Christ! Uh Eric..." Eric simply nodded to the man named Jason who had taken a skittish step back at the sight of him. "I told you guys I didn't want any part of your business yet here I am getting a call for a large fire. The whole fucking house Jessica?!"
