Before they became members of Stray Kids, they debuted as 3QI on August 3rd, 2017 through a survival show titled '3QI' under JYP entertainment. They released a mini album titled 'the 3rd floor' and the promotions lasted for a month.
They would have their comeback two months later on October 1st with a mini album titled 'money' and they would promote it for around two weeks before they halted their promotions and became inactive on all social media platforms. Fans started to worry.
On January 1st, JYP entertainment announced that Jia, Aeyoon and Safa would be joining Stray Kids as members of the group.
They got hate from some people and support from others. A year later and the hate bandwagon had disappeared.
