Kasen POV After hearing what Tre told KK, my respect for him just went up. I no longer looked at him as the lil wanna be thug that got my babygirl pregnant but I actually could see myself having a conversation with him.
Before they could see me I exited back through the patio and went to the hospital.
When I got there Pj was there. "Wassup pops" "how she doing" I asked "She good been sleeping but we actually held a conversation until she was in pain and went back to sleep from her medicine." "You heard from Sky"

"Okay so why Sky not at home" "because Sky went off on KK once she found out the reason why mama crashed, she told her if she would've been told y'all mama wouldn't have to rush home and if mama wasn't ok she wasn't claiming her or the baby"

"Oh really" "Yea all I'm saying is she can't just have Tre, she needs her father and big sister, she know I got her forever but shit I got my own problems, Imma have a conversation with Sky and tell her she was wrong until then Imma go be great it's getting late and I got shit of my own to deal with" then he walked over to Shay and placed a kiss on her forehead and left out the room.
Shayla POV I was laying there with my eyes closed cause it's better to just lay there to avoid all the pain.I heard everything PJ said.
I honestly don't know what I would've did if I would've made it home but I know I wasn't gonna be an Amanda about the situation,so I have to get up and ignore all the pain because my family need me.
I woke up "Kasen" I said in a raspy voice "shhhh stop talking baby you need to rest" "I got enough rest these 2 days I need to get up and see about y'all" "We good I got us" "Do you really got us Kasen, you are a great dad and wonderful husband, but right now our children need their parents and you are here in fine a few cuts and bruises but I'm fine" "Shayla you got a broken leg and broken arm plus the doctor said he lost you couple times, so you not fine"
"I gotta be fine because of the kids I heard what Pj said and I heard what you did, how can you walk away from her without an explanation that's key facts that you was disappointed in her" "shit ain't you disappointed she not even done with high school and she wanna up and get pregnant how fucking dumb is that, ooos I'm sorry" he said to me I guess realizing what he said "she not dumb, she's in love and she sees him as an escape from her reality"
"Shay what could possibly be wrong with KK she live a good life" "Kasen then about it these last 2 months been hard. Her finding out you was a drug dealer, Brenda dying and don't forget us separating" I said.
He stood there without saying anything I guess he was thinking. "Shay I can't put this drug stuff behind me just like that" "I'm not asking you to" "just let me finish damn, I can't put it behind me but I can step up and make sure you get right and get our kids together" "Ok Kasen" I said. We really had a process but we gone prevail in the end.
PJ POV Thinking about what I told pops made me just wanna day fuck it and go ask Trinity for the truth. If CJ is my son I need to know why she hid em from me.
I went to the floor they was on and went to the room but it was empty. I went to a nurse "ma'am what happened to the woman and kid that was in this room" "Oh they got to go home." She said.
I went out to the parking garage getting in my car calling Trinity. She didn't answer but her voicemail came up and I said.
"I'm on my way to your house" and I hung up going towards her place On my way! To her house I got stopped by the police. I sat there waiting on the cop to come to my window and he did so I let it down only to see the nigga I been wanting to see for so long.

I wasn't finna kill him I should've known it wasn't a routine stop because I knew I didn't do anything wrong so he had to be following me all the way from the hospital.

He just don't know imma be waiting for him. It started to rain and I still made it my business to go to Trinity house.
When she answered the door and seen my face she immediately asked what was wrong and what happened.
