Chapter 9 ; Fell for a human

As I keep staring at my feet, suddenly I've been startled by a sudden scream.

"Chaerin!" I said as I saw her not far from here. Looking at the pieces of sharp things that trying to hit her, I quickly rushed to her in extreme fast and let the pieces of sharp things hit my back harshly.

"Argh!" I groaned softly while gritting my teeth.  Her eyes then slowly fluttered and we both made an eye contact causing my heart pounding.

"A-are you okay?" I asked as she just stare at me with widen eyes. She then nodded softly.

"Fuhh... good to heard that you okay." I said as I curved a weak smile to her. Soon my body starts to absorb all the pain causing me to fell on her, unconscious.

don't expected that he suddenly popped from nowhere and save me.

"A-are you okay?" He asked me. I nodded softly as my eyes still wide opened.

"Fuhh... Good to heard that you okay." He said as he curved a weak smile towards me. He then suddenly fell on me. His head landed right on my shoulder causing me to blushed hardly but in the same time panicked.

"Hwanwoong. A-are you okay?!" I asked but my eyes get watery as I saw his back were full with a pieces of glass, stacked on his back.

"H-hwanwoong." I called him again but looks like he already passed out.

I then piggy back him and went to the nearest hospital.

"W-where am I?" I heard him spoke after long time he unconscious.

"Oh, god! You're alive!" I said as I went to him quickly.

"How can I die just because a pieces of that sharp things?" He said as he curved a smile towards me.

"Did you need something?"

"I felt thirsty." He said as he keep touching his neck, sign that his throat quite dry out.

I then went hand him a glass of water that place besides him.

"Did you feel better now?"

"I guess." He said as he keep drank the water until it's finished.

"Thank you for saving my life..." I said as I bowed to him.

"It's just a small matter...but. how can human died just because of that pieces of glasses? Like it's logically not true." He said as I noticed that he keep using the word human.

"Huh. Why aren't you know? You're also a human...right?" I said a lil bit confused if he's a human... Like he looks like a human but he keeps using that word human to refer to me.

"Well, maybe? " He said as he curved a smirk towards me.

"I'm kidding. If I told you who I am, you're gonna be in a big surprise so I better didn't tell you." He said as he place the glass gently on the table.

" What do you meant?" I asked, totally blank.

I went back home after he already checked out from the hospital. Slowly tip toeing inside and gently close the door.

"Fuhh... Luckily they still fell asleep." I whispered as I quickly rushed to my room. I slammed my body on my bed while my mind still thinking about his words just now.

Flashback

"What do you meant?" I asked, totally blank.

"You don't have to understand it. The main reason is to hid my real identity in this world and just completed my mission as fast as I could do."

" What is your mission?"

" You can't know about it. It's secret."

" What if I know?"

"Then I need to ' kill ' you. That's why I didn't tell you."

" K-kill? So you a psycho murderer?"

"Well... Idk what are those thingy but I think I'm more than it. Well no need to know. Like I told you. It's difficult for your brain to crack the answer cuz it's not what you're think I am..."

End of flashback.

"What did he mean by it's not what I think he is?? " I said as I keep tapping my chin. Try to crack the answer but fail as my head began to felt dizzy because it's too hard to figured it out.

"Let just sleep. Maybe he just fooling around. Well maybe he just kidding me." I whispered as I went to sleep.

"She already fell asleep..." I whispered as I keep sitting on her room window without she noticed it because she already fell asleep. Her window still wide opened. I then decided to enter her room and made my steps to sleeping Chaerin.

I stare at her beautiful innocent face pretty long until I don't even noticed that my finger made its way to her face. Without I realised my finger gently brushes her hair away and touched her white pinky cheek gently. Looking at her, sleeping made my heart flutters.

"Sweet dream, pretty." I whispered on her ear and leave a peck her lip once before I went out from her room and close the window secretly.

I keep smiling like a crazy while my finger touched my lip softly.

"Where's had you been ?" Ravn asked me, snapped me off.

"Aish! Gamchaga!" I said as I massage my chest gently.

"Nowhere. I just had a walk around this city just now." I answered.

"Really?" He asked me with a serious tone.

"For real. Now, I'm in my good mood so don't ruin it." I said as I just walked passed him and went to my room. Slammed myself on the bed while my eyes keep staring at the ceiling.

"So I guess, the soulmate thingy really works. Well I already fell for her..." I whispered as her figure keeps playing in my mind.

"She's too cute to be a human... She looks like an angel..."
