Abby walks into the fancy office room. It had red curtains and three giant windows. There was a big glass table and many smaller ones on different sides of the room. There is a black chair facing its back to Abby.
Abby : Good morning. I'm here for my interview.
The chair turns around and a man with brown hair and kind eyes is revealed. He looks really smart and flashes a smile before he gets up and shakes Abby's hand.
The man : Good morning. I'm Joshua Mendez. CEO of Tech.Co. You are?
Abby : Good morning sir. I'm Abigail Bryans.
Joshua : Excellent. The Harvard graduate ?
Abby : Yes sir.
Joshua : Lemme see your resume.
Abby : Here you go. (Handing it to him)
Joshua : Ok then. A few questions for you.
Abby : Sure.
Towards the end of the interview,
Joshua : Welcome to Tech.Co.
Abby : Thank you.
Joshua : Work starts from tomorrow.
Abby : Ok then.
The next day,
Abby enters the office and heads towards her cubicle. A tall woman with dark brown hair comes towards her.
The woman : Good morning there.
Abby : Good morning. I'm Abby. Are you Zendaya , my supervisor?
Zendaya : I sure am.
Abby : Well thanks. I might need some help.
Zendaya : That's what I'm here for.
Abby : Ok then. I can't seem to get this.
After work,
It's 8 at night. It's been an unusually long day, considering the fact that she is an intern and this is has been her first day. She couldn't bear to imagine what the other days would be like. As she walks down, she bumps into a guy. Unlike earlier, she was the one to apologise.
Abby : Oh my god I'm so sorry.
The guy looks up. He surprised her because he looked unreasonably young to go for even an internship at Tech.Co.
The guy : Oh that's ok. I wasn't looking.
His British accent took her by surprise. But then again he did look British. Unable to control herself,
Abby : Aren't you a bit young to be working here.
The guy : Well, I'm 17. I'm a prodigy.
Abby : Shit! That was so rude of me.
The guy : Oh don't worry. Happens. I'm Patrick. And you are?
Abby : Abigail.
Patrick : First day?
Abby : Yup. I'm beat. See ya tomorrow.
Patrick : Good night.
Abby : Good night.
