CHAPTER 100

PART 2

Anjali leaves taking Khushi along with her after lying to her dad about her mom being busy and someone has to take care of her at this stage.....when he had no problem with that where as he considered Khushi was his own daughter for that matter....

No matter how much Anjali tried Khushi seemed lost but she would only smile and laugh only when she was with Anjali's son.... who would make her laugh with his innocent talks and smiles....Anjali made sure that Khushi attended her college without fail and also took care of her diet...only she couldn't give her was a husband's love which every woman craves at this stage.....

Now Khushi was 7 months her 5th semester exams were over and she had holidays so she would take rest all the time on the insistence of Anjali who would not allow her to move not even a inch...Garima had come many times asking to come home than staying at Anjali's place but Khushi felt at least she could cry here sometime thinking about the fate but once she goes there she couldn't do that as her parents would get to know her soon!! So she had politely refused saying that she is fine at Anjali's place so that she could take care of her dad better!!

It was decided that Khushi would have a baby shower in the Jaiswal mansion as Sharada was very much eager to have it only in their house due to lot of pressure on Anjali she had to agree to it without any choice!!

ON THE DAY OF KHUSHI'S BABY SHOWER

Khushi was made to dress beautifully with a red colored lehenga she was looking beautiful as she had gained weight and the pregnancy glow was on her face she felt blessed as so many people came and blessed her and the baby and she had finally thought she would get someone of her blood who would love her unconditionally without expecting anything in return...Anjali and Shyam , Sohan smiled looking at each other seeing their Khushi and Kuku giving a real smile only if they knew it was only for few moments..

Khushi's best friend Akrati had also come who was happy for her friend knowing that she was going through a lot at least she would be happy after her baby is born...

Anjali, Shyam and Sohan were busy with the guests sending them back so Khushi called Akrati near by....

Khushi(SOFTLY): Aku....

Akrati:(smiles)Yes Khushi...You want something??

Khushi(smiles): Ya...I am feeling tired can you get the tablets kept in the room...

Ankrati:(smiles)Okay...I'll get....

Akrati leaves.....

Anjali comes near her smiling....

Anjali(smiles):Khushi shall we leave??

Khushi(smiles):Ya...di....I'll just inform Sharada aunty and come...

Anjali: Okay....

Khushi looked everywhere but her MIL was nowhere to be seen but someone told she was in the kitchen....so she went in to the kitchen to see her MIL speaking on her phone shouting at someone...she thought she should come later as her back was facing her...so turned to go back but stood rooted to her place listening to the next set of words from her MIL's mouth....speaking to her son Vidyut...

Sharada:(angrily)How could you??You know right you have to just listen to me if we have to get the custody of the baby!!

Vidyut:.......................................................................

Sharada:(sternly)I had clearly told you before your marriage also stay away from that Sheetal..if you had been careful before I wouldn't have to beg for my grandchild from my DIL

Khushi held the pillar in shock knowing that her MIL knew about her son's affair still she got married to her son spoiling her life.......

Sharada: I don't know anything once Khushi gives birth We will file a case against her for the custody of the baby..once she gives birth I had to stop her filing for divorce when she was pregnant or else the court would have given the custody to her itself...so it is better you behave like a ideal husband and dad atleast for few days so that we can get some witness in favor of you.....

Khushi started shivering and sweating thinking that her MIL was trying to snatch the baby from her her baby her blood....her hands went around her bulged tummy automatically as if trying to protect the unborn from everyone and her Blood pressure was going high making her difficult to even breathe and sweat was covered all her face and hands felt clammy...she wanted to run from here...as soon as possible....

NOTE: VIDYUTS HOUSE WAS 3 FLOOR BUILDING....DOWNSTAIRS HALL,1 BEDROOM AND OTHER...AND 1 ST FLOOR KITCHEN,2 BEDROOMS ETC ANOTHER BIG HALL...SO NOW KHUSHI'S FUNCTION WAS CONDUCTED IN THE FIRST FLOOR AND AKRATI HAD GONE DOWNSTAIRS TO GET HER TABLETS FROM THE GROUND FLOOR...THE HOUSE HAD BOTH LIFTS AND STAIR CASE

Without thinking anything in that state of mind she took the stairs to protect her baby when she missed one step and hit her stomach badly and fell clutching to her stomach crying out in pain!!

Khushi's POV

I clutched my stomach in pain as the pain became unbearable and saw Sohan lifting me and putting in to the car,Anjali di holding my hand and telling me everything would be fine and Shyam jiju driving the car and my parents looking me worried patting my cheeks to keep my eyes open...I felt wetness in the dress below... and then I knew the dream that had kept me alive till today had come to an end before I closed my eyes and lost consciousness!!
