What should I do? I accidentally fell in love with my stepbrother's friend secretly! I messed up big time! Jihoon oppa always reminded me not to like any of his friends because he said that they are not good for me, especially him. He told me that they are a bunch of old playboys and they will just hurt me. He said that once I fall for any of them, he will ignore me for a whole year and I don't want that to happen!
One of my two bestfriends who has the same name as me, told me that it's just an infatuation. She told me that my feelings for Mino oppa will eventually disappear and that he is too old for me since he's already twenty-seven while I'm just turning twenty. But age doesn't matter, right?
While my other bestfriend, Nayeon unnie, who's only two years younger than my love, told me that I should confess to him before it's too late. Mino oppa is a handsome man that's why a lot of girls like him. He's also nice, sweet and caring especially to me, that's why I don't understand why my stepbrother thinks that he's not good for me.
But I'm too scared to confess! Yes, we are close, but.. I think things will get awkward between us once I confess. And I don't want him to stay away from me just because of that!
"Chae!"
I removed the blanket around me when I heard my brother loudly called me downstairs.
"Yes, oppa?" I shouted.
"Come down here! All my friends are here already!"
My eyes widened. "Yes, oppa!" I quickly get off the bed and ran in front of the mirror to check if I look good or not. Jihoon oppa told me yesterday that he'll be inviting all of his friends to our house today to hang out since mom and dad are out of town.
When I finished checking myself out, I quickly left my room. As soon as I reach the stairs, I heard some laughters coming from our living room. I suddenly felt nervous so I slowly walked down the stairs until I saw our living room filled with my brother's friends.
My cheeks flushed when all of them turned to me. I looked at the one by one and realized that most of them are unfamiliar faces to me. I only know three. Seungyoon oppa. Jinwoo oppa. And Seunghoon oppa.
I wonder where my love is..
"Hey there, Chae!" Seunghoon oppa greeted me. The other two greeted me as well. I smiled shyly and clasped my hands together.
"H-hi! Where's.." I looked at the others and saw them still silently staring at me. I cleared my throat before looking back to the three. "..my brother?"
Seungyoon oppa laughed. "He's in the kitchen."
"O-oh,"
"Come sit here, Chae. Your brother is getting us snacks." My eyes drifted to Jinwoo oppa who's smiling at me.
"A-ah, thanks but no.. I'll just go out for a while."
He briefly nodded. "Okay."
I slightly gave them a smile before I turned around and went outside our house. As I am walking on our stone pavement that will lead me to the garden, I suddenly thought of Mino oppa.
"Why is he not here.." I mumbled.
When I reached our garden, I decided to sit on the swing and stare at the colorful flowers in front of me. I really like him. When I first saw him, I already had a crush on him. And as days go by, we became close. I find him funny and easygoing. One day, he started being caring and sweet to me and that's when my brother started to warn me about him. But then, I already really like him.
