Okay clowns les do dis

Who paved the way for kpop? This is my opinion about the one that paved the way. R E S P E C T   E A C H  O T H E R ' S   O P I N I O N.

Every group, representatives, artists, kpop artist or companies play a very very important and big part in kpop.

Even great vocals, synchronized dances, lit ass rap verses and addictive songs are the main criteria in the industry.

I personally think the people who involves in paving the way kpop are the popular groups such as Super Junior, Girls Generation, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Big Bang, 2NE1, BAP and more of popular 2nd generation groups or artist such as Boa, Rain or etc.

They made the way for kpop. These groups were the reason why kpop was slowly getting the recognition around Asia but also spreading around the western market even though back them weren't as big as it is on today.

Wonder Girls were the first kpop group to made an achievement outside of Korea especially Western market and even made it as the first kpop group to perform in American TV show and you know the rest.

The YG aces which are Big Bang and 2NE1 made kpop to become more internationally popular with the hip hop concepts which was very understandable.

SM artist started the Hallyu wave which is very very great. SM also had a part in creating the way for kpop.
They did a very great job by dominating the industry with their super multi talented artists and legendary visual artists.

Okay.

To me, the one who paved the way for kpop weren't just BTS but also the other popular groups like TWICE, BLACKPINK, EXO, RED VELVET, GOT7, SEVENTEEN, NCT AND WANNA ONE ETC.

They're the strong game player in kpop that were the aces and weapons to make kpop more known with their talents, skills, songs and looks.

There are other 3rd gen groups but I noticed they weren't as impactful as the mentioned above.

With their success, groups mentioned paved a bigger way for people to get to know of kpop more widely.

Also, they're the reasons why their younger siblings groups (4th generation) are so popular nowadays, much easier to gain success and popularity.

By the help of 3rd gen artists.

But don't forget about Big3 that also helped in building and paving ways for kpop because without Big3 you won't even know who the fuck is Kim Taehyung or Bae Joohyun.

Without all of this your fave will remain stuck as an underground artist or in a long time underrated artists.

You won't even jamming your head to DNA by BTS, laughing to Twice being comedian, listening to some good ass kpop songs.

Or backflipping and tumbling to Seventeen's choreographies.

Crying about Red Velvet, yeeting  yourself off because of Stray Kids and NCT.

Appreciate the fact that kpop is happening and you are happen to be in the community.

And do not always mention about paving the way because it could easily lead to fanwars.

This is my opinion about who paved the way in kpop.
