He was leading me to the little woods near the arena, he looked scared and it was beginning to worry me. I had never seen him with this sort of expression on before.
We stopped at a fence which overlooked a small pond and he turned to face me.
"Casey" he began, "I need to tell you something"
"Go on, you're worrying me" I laughed nervously.
He drew a huge breath before taking my hands into his and looking at me.
"I need to tell you how I feel about you Casey. I need to tell you how much I care about you. the fact that I've loved you ever since I've known you. I know I fucked up really bad before, that I broke your heart and made you look like a fool for trusting me. And I know you said you wanted to take it slowly and I've tried but I can't hold it back anymore." He breathed. "I love you Casey"
And I just stood there, taking in everything he had said to me. I was so happy, hearing those words from his mouth.
I took a deep breath "Michael" I began.
"No don't talk" he stopped me, "I want to ask you something, it's okay if you say no, but I have to ask or I'll never know. Casey will you be my girlfriend?"
My eyes went wide, I wasn't expecting this at all. "Michael" I began. "you fucked up back home. You made me feel that I couldn't trust anyone again. I hated you, I really hated you. But when we were together again it was like I was just falling for you all over again" I drew a breath. "Michael I love you, I fucking love you to death, I mean I always had from a fans point of view and spending time with you in person was a dream come true but I just love you to death. And I'd love to be your girlfriend." I smiled.
His face lit up and he picked me up and spun me around laughing together. As he set me down he pulled me in and kissed me. I was so happy, this was all I could have dreamed for in life. Michael was mine and I was his, and it wasn't going to be perfect, hell no it wasn't, things never are. But It was going to be perfect enough for me.
"Come on then girlfriend, we have a show to do" he winked taking my hand as we ran back to the arena.
