The ghost mystery

Chapter 2

"Piper, Breakfast is ready!" "Ok miss Delilah I'll be down in a second!" I pushed my covers off and raced down the stairs when Dylan stopped me. "Hey, what was that for?!" Everybody stared at me like I was crazy, and then I remembered Dylan was a ghost. "Piper, you have to start to remember that I'm a ghost.." I stomped into the kitchen and sat down in front of a plate with a waffle and strawberries. "Piper, I have great news!" "If I'm not getting adopted, it's not great news" "well that's good because you are getting adopted." "Wait, what?!!?" My eyes widened in shock as miss Delilah went to go get the information on my new parents. I took the papers from her hand and quickly noticed that they have a dead child. "No no no, there is no way I'm going with them!" "Why not?" "They have a dead daughter!" "Stop being a wuss and go pack your things, here's a duffel bag" I sighed and trudged upstairs with the duffel bag in my hands. I packed my stuffed animal meatball, 2 pairs of old dirty shoes and my pajamas, my sweat shirt, and 2 outfits. I headed back downstairs when buddy (the ghost) pulled me back and hugged me. "Bye Piper.." " Goodbye buddy" Ge let go of me and I went downstairs to find my new parents already there. I got in the car and waved goodbye. I guess this is it.. My eyes started to water as we drove away,My new parents, Dan and Linda Prendergast looked back at me and smiled,while I just turned my head away and closed my eyes. I fell asleep and dreamt about what my life would now be like..
