Sophie whipped her head around and immediately saw a group of people break through the heavy doors. They had a Black Swan on their silvery outfits so that gave her all the information she needed, and the fact she wore the silver eye of the Neverseen was very bad indeed.
"Sophie!" Fintan yelled eyes wide with anger, she flung as much inflicting energy as she could muster but they did not stop their march towards her. She noticed a particular piece of headgear Vespara had once worn making her impervious to mental attack and she cursed herself for not noticing it sooner.
"Old fashioned way I guess." Fintan smiled and his palms were instantly alight with flame. The delegates from the opposite side of the table stepped back, most of them with smug expressions on their faces. Without her inflicting her other abilities weren't really battle-ready so she drew her weapon, a double-sided spear, and stood beside her father and comrades. A Psionopath from the Neverseen began putting up a barrier between the two groups to prevent an attack from behind, but not before Keefe dove across the room and joined her without a glance back at his side of the room. He drew his sword and stood by her side and together they charged into the fray. As it was meant to be.

*Half an hour of brutal battle has passed*

By the looks on the faces of her friends, she knew these Black Swan members were thereby no orders of Mr. Forkle or the collective meaning these were rouge agents making them even more dangerous than agents given a mission. Keefe fought beside her almost as elegant and deadly as herself. Almost. An arrow embedded itself in his leg, Sophie immediately whipped around and cut the archer down before rushing to Keefe's side, he had already dulled the pain with his inflicting but she took it away completely with the addition of her own.
"Alright?" She asked as she turned and cut down another soldier,
"It'll do for now." He responded with a smirk, he seemed to enjoy fighting with her. No matter the enemy. After the impromptu healing she looked around for another enemy but none came, the ground was littered with cloaks of various colors from the Neverseen and the silvery cloaks belonging to the Black Swan. None of her friends seemed injured she had discreetly tried to protect them during the battle, of course only she and Keefe would have seen her meddling. She took a step closer to Keefe and was about to turn back to Fintan to await directions but a faint beeping drew her attention away, it was close, she raised her hand and on the back of her neck she felt a smooth metallic device, her eyes widened and she frantically moved to get it off. But not before it discharged, sending a spurt of electricity up and down her spine like a bolt of lightning. She fell and Keefe just barely kept her head from hitting the ground. Her eyes fluttered then closed. Leaving her in darkness.
