The car ride

So You grab your snack bucket (it's a tradition of you and your mom's) and get in the car. "Can we stop and get Starbucks?" You asked "of course is that even a question?" She replied you guys burst out laughing and drive to Starbucks.

"What do you want?" Mom asked
"I want a pink drink with two extra pumps of coconut" I replied you guys get your drinks and hit the road. You end up falling asleep two hours in to the road trip. A few hours later... "Y/n?" Your mom whispered "yah?" You said sleeply.

"We will be there in an hour" mom said with excitement "I slept that long what did I miss?" You laughed "oh nothing just a good karaoke time with you mom" said mom "good" you whispered. You guys arrive at the hotel an hour later and pull up to the main vallet entrance. "We will take your car and bring it you just the way you had it at the end of your stay" said a vallet driver.

"Thank you so much" mom said to him. You guys walk up to the front desk where you see some birds in a cage. "Let's get our room key now?" mom asked "sure" you replied. You guys grab the room key and start walking up to your room when you get to a weird sitting section.
