Mikaris sat up in the bed on the top floor of the Fairy Tail Cafe... she was no longer wearing her A.E.A. and instead wore some light hospital clothing and bandages.. as well as a splint on her leg..

Standing around her bed.. were some  Soul Reaper Captains.. and a few mages from the other guilds that were scattered around the city.

After the death of Slither.. many of the of the primary attackers had retreated. Not because Slither died.. or because they were losing forces... rather because they had finished analyzing the enemy's strengths and weaknesses..

Mikaris cursed herself for being stupid. Finding the main leaders and eliminating them had only been a side strategy. What Asgawrath's forces had mainly been worried about was finding the heavy hitters. Those who were prominent in their guilds for being powerful.. like Accelerator, Jura, Gray, Sting.. mages and espers who were exceptional in their guilds..

She should have noticed it when Accelerator and Nicole's delays were caused by an unusual amount of over 50 Menos Grande. And while Mikaris was certain that it would be quite a while before the enemy could discover Accelerator's weakness other then the time limit on his battery.. the others were a different story..

"How are you feeling Mikaris?" The wolf-like Captain Komamura nodded at Mikaris.

"I'm not suited for battle right now.. Wendy said my armor exhausted me to the point where it would be unwise." said Mikaris. "But my brain is still intact...I'm more interested right now in how it's going around the city."

"Well as far as we know." Markarov spoke up. "Mayuri Kurotsuchi hasn't been seen or heard from.. it can only be assumed he's still facing some form of the enemy underground..."

Everyone.. even some of the guild masters from the other guilds like Quatro Cerberus and Lamia Scale began looking at Mikaris expectantly. Mikaris began to feel herself blush. She knew that she was a strategist... and that was pretty much her primary skill (She always liked to read Art of War during her spare time.) But she didn't think that she was held in such high regard on the subject matter.

"Very well." said Mikaris. "We can leave Mayuri alone, knowing him, I'm sure that if one of us even make our way down there we'll only end up ensnaring ourselves in one of the traps he has set up for the enemy..." And Mikaris proceeded to set up battle formations... by the time she had finished.. everyone had left for the positions she had given... it was a little overwhelming... back when she was a general. When she gave orders, everyone was basically a bunch of namelss faces... now, she actually cared about what happened to her charges..

There was only one person left in the room.

"Hey! Sparky number two!!" Yachiru, the little pink haired liutenant of Kenpachi Zaraki jumped around cheerfully. "Wanna play a game?"

"Sorry, Yachiru.." said Mikaris. "Aren't you going to look for your captain?"

"Kenny's all busy having fun fighting!! It's good that Kenny's having fun, and I don't want to get in Kenny's way." said Yachiru. "So I thought I'd play with Sparky Number two instead!!"

Mikaris stared at Yachiru for a moment, amazed at how oblivious one girl could be to the terror and bloodshed around her.. or maybe it just came from hanging out with Kenpachi, to which bloodshed and death would eventually surround...

"Yachiru.." Mikaris began to say something.. then there came a dark chuckling noise.. a familiar dark chuckling...

Out of the shadows.. came none other then the current leader of Hydra Head... Rogue Cheney.. however.. this was a Rogue from an alternate timeline.. an alternate future...where dragons ruled an appocalyptic world..
