Hiccstrid Forever

Anxiety

heeeeeelo hope you all are doing well....yea I have nothing else to say um...ok. 

This takes place after httyd 3 when the dragons are gone ,but before hiccstrid is married .

Astrid POV 

I was walking around berk looking for hiccup I was worried about him ever since he has become chief he has had a lot of anxiety, and since the dragons left it hasn't gotten better in fact it has got worse.( btw it has been like 1 month after the dragons left)

Flashback   

We were eating lunch in the great hall it was now 2 days after the dragons left, and everyone was feeling a little depressed. I was at a table with the gang. The twins were fighting about if the yak chops or the bread was better. Fishlegs was looking at pictures he drew of meatlug. Snotlout was just sitting there looking annoyed at the twins, and hiccup was just poking at his food .  

I got up to go get some more bread

" Hiccup you want more of anything" I asked him even though it looked like he wasn't even going to finish his first plate.

" No, I'm good, but thank you" he replied looking up and smiling at me.

" Ok" i said smiling back and walking away

While I was looking for the bread I saw some men walking towards our table , they were coming from a table where mildew was. I thought nothing of it cause they were probably just going to ask hiccup a question or something.

I found the bread a picked it up but then I heard some yelling I looked over at where the sound was coming from, and it was those 3 guys at our table yelling at hiccup, and hiccup did not look good he looked as if he was going to pass out, we was all pale and blinking a lot. 

I ran over there to hear possibly the meanest thing they could of said to hiccup. 

" Why did you even let the dragons go!"

"Yea, now you put us all in misery!"

"  Letting the dragons go was a mistake!"

" Stoick would of done something better!" 

" Why couldn't toothless just go with his girlfriend , and all the other dragons stay!"

" Toothless loved his girlfriend more then you, so he was ok with leaving!"

"Everything is all about you and your dragon!" 

They were still shouting thing but I blocked them out to look at hiccup who was putting a hand over his heart and breather deeper and faster, and kept blinking. I realize something was happening to him. 

" SHUT UP" I yelled at the people but now the whole great hall was staring at us .

I  ran to hiccup to catch him cause he was falling backwards from the bench, I pulled him to a wall the we were right next to. I pulled him closer to me he was shaking and his hand was now over his heart,

I saw Valka run over to us and sat down next to hiccup and held him too.

"shhh, just breath you are going to be okay" valka soothed him 

" What is happening to him" I asked valka getting worrying cause he was kinda twitching now and breathing louder and shaking more

" a-as-s-trid" hiccup said before fainting

" hiccup I am here... no" i said hugging hiccup 

Valka looked at us and then at the people "where is Gothi " she shouted

Gothi came and told well wrote to bring him to her hut.  

End of Flashback

It turns out that he had an anxiety attack caused by those men shouting at him.

He has had 2 more since then, and I am really worried about him, gothi said to help them and kind make them go away was to talk to people about how you are felling and stuff, so now after every day when me and hiccup are in bed( they share a house) we tell each other about our day. It was really nice. 

I was walking round the village asking people if they have seen hiccup all of them said no. I went to our house, nope. The the forge, nope,.Valka's house nope. The cove, nope to be honest I thought he was going to be at the cove.

I went down to the beach cause that is the last place i think he would be. If he is not here I have no idea where he is.

I walked along the beach, the I saw him sitting on a rock staring at the ocean and the sunset. I walked up to him a sat on the rock with him and sighed, he looked at me then looked back at the sunset.

" Beautiful isn't it" hiccup said looking at me

Yep" i replied smiling to him

" Not as beautiful as you" I laughed he always found a way to say that I was beautiful

We stared back at the sunset, I looked at him to find him not looking at the sunset but looking down. 

I put my arm around him" whats wrong" 

" I would tell you that nothing is wrong but i know you would just tell me to tell the truth so..." he started i took my arm off him and held his hands

" I am worried about us, what if we get in a fight and break up, what if something happens to me then you have to live a life in sadness, what if something happens to you and I have to live a life like my dad did what if we-" I cut him off by kissing him full on the lips, it took him a few seconds but he kissed back, he took his hand out of mine and put it on my cheek, I smiled. 

We pulled apart looking at each other, he put his hand down from my cheek back to holding my hand.

" I love you, I will never let some fight break us apart, I will make sure nothing happens to you, and I am sure you will make sure nothing happens to me" I told him squeezing his hands.

" I love you and I have no idea where i would be with out you" we told me moving my bangs out of my eye. and moved his hand down gently to my cheek and cupped it. He grabbed my waist with is other hand, pulled me closer and kissed me. My eyes flutter shut and my hands made there way to his shoulders. 

We pulled away from each he looked at me" Astrid you are the best thing that has happened to me you make me the person I am today, you help me in every way possible. You have done so much to help me mentally and physically. That is why I want you by me the rest of my life that I can help you too," he got off the rock got done on one knee," Astrid 'Fearless' Hofferson will make me the happiest person in the whole archipelago and marry me" he opened a little wooden box that had a little ring with a little jewel on top.(Idk if they had rings back then but in this story they did) Oh my thor I had tears in my eye and a smile on my face.

" Of course I will and marrying you will make me the happiest person in the archipelago" I told him. he stood up put the ring on my finger and hugged me spinning me around. He put me down and cupped both of my cheeks and kissed me.

We walked back to the village hand in hand with smiles on or faces.
