hi! so as I've gone back through and edited this story a bit, I've come to realize that this might as well be Outer Banks fan fiction. ha. this wasn't my original intention, as this idea is one I've had since middle school, but here we are! I just wrote this for fun, and while it's very much the whole "carefree, golden hour inspired" vibe of the show, it's also inspired by my summers spent at the beach in North Carolina. I suppose I subconsciously began to see the characters as those on the show when I binged it a few months back. whoops!
this is my nanowrimo from this year, so if you spot typos, plot holes, and WORD scattered across the pages like wayward icing sugar...yeah. I haven't edited it yet. enjoy!
