How we are taught from birth who, what, and how to love
How on the list of love runs "myself" is never number one
Explain how love can be so many different shapes and sizes yet we only accept one

Let's talk about opinions
How can someone respect her opinion was shoving it down your throat
We say "you can have you're opinion only if it agrees with mine"

Let's talk about expression
How you say be yourself
Then you tell me who I am
How you say you are free
But you can only do so much

Let's talk about rape
Let's talk about racism
Let's talk about sexism
Let's talk about homophobia
Let's talk about transphobia
Let's talk about terrorism
Let's talk about corruption

It's time for us to have a seat
Because it's clear we need to talk
