I WILL STAY

The first time we met, I felt so unusual
I totally assumed, our feelings was mutual
I court you with love, I confess sans denial
But your blunt refusal, that all was casual

Acceptance will follow, on how I grieve in sorrow
My brain was hollow, as skies turned yellow
Cleared wine bottles, then slapped, broken handles
Pain of mine that mantled, by mourning candles

Time moves forward, for me to shatter
Display a smile, and that smile will scatter
Leave some footprints, of deep reminder
Feel the courage, then pass the border

Past truly matters, it strengthens us to stay
Scars of yesterday, will stay as yesterday
No matter how life was hard , I will truly stay
The good old times, will be treasured everyday
