in order for yeosang to not get bored and lonely at home, seonghwa had decided to bring him to work, there wasn't much going on so it was an in and out situation but he knows mingi was going to be in and so was yunho so it was perfect

the little pup would be able to talk to him while he's sorting his priorities out and after that they can go do something, anything yeosang wanted.

he sees how yeosang immediately perked up when he sees yunho, immediately running towards him and basically jumping on to him, the puppy hybrid was quick enough to put his hands on yeosang's thighs so he wouldn't slip off 

"you hug me as if we've been apart for years." yunho mumbles, gently putting him back down on the ground "seems like it." yeosang replies before getting a pat from seonghwa 

"princess, how about you go and get something to eat, bring yunho with you, i'm sure you have a lot to catch up on." the kitten nods, earning a cheek kiss from the stylist while yunho coos at the gesture.

they found themselves inside a warm bakery as yeosang had been enticed by the display of baked goods so they found a little booth to sit in and yeosang insists its his treat despite yunho pulling out his own card, courtesy of mingi.

"how are you and seonghwa? he's rather sweet around you." yunho comments, spooning out the whipped cream that topped his cocoa 

"and he calls you princess, it's cute and i know your praise kink is just off the roof at this point." he says in a more hushed tone because they were in public 

"most likely but we are doing just great, he took me out on a date and we've talked about why we're the way we are." yeosang relays with a sweet smile as he takes a bite of his cheesecake "wanna ask you something, since you're in a relationship with mingi." yunho nods, letting him know he's open to what yeosang wanted to know 

"how did you ask mingi out on a date?" yunho couldn't believe this is the same yeosang he'd been with for years, he was al blushy and soft-spoken, like a timid maiden 

"well, mingi asked me first but i did ask him out too, i think i just blurted it out and he said yes." the copper-haired pup replies with nonchalance

"you see, a friend of mine requested we should go on a double date because he needs some positive energy in the form of kang yeosang." yunho rolls his eyes in a playful manner as this was the yeosang he knew 

"just ask him, you've been on a date, should be easy enough. when's the date?" he nearly splutters his warm drink when yeosang answered that it was tonight "jesus christ, you are hopeless." he dabs his mouth with a napkin before putting the cup down 

"so, you promised your friend you'd accompany him in a double date when you haven't even asked seonghwa to go with you?" yeosang nods while yunho cups his own face 

"then ask him later, would you feel comfortable if i was with you?" the kitten nods yet again and yunho smiles fondly 

"i helped junhui pick out clothes already but here i am, panicking and unable to ask seonghwa to a date that is happening later." 

it was a bit laughable to see how yeosang seemed to become like silly putty in regards to talking about seonghwa but it was an adorable sight to see "well, just ask him straight away later, i'm sure he will say yes."
