5pm, the time where all students leave school grounds and go home. supposedly a warm meal would be waiting for them.

everyday when school ends it's either Iwaizumi waiting for y/n or y/n barging through the gym waiting for Iwaizumi to finish practice. In this case it was y/n waiting for Iwaizumi

y/n hopped her way into the gym and as usual the players of the volleyball team greeted her.

"y/n-chan! you're here again! are you waiting for meee?" Oikawa, the captain went over to y/n to give her a hug but y/n knows she's gonna get targeted by Oikawa's fans. So she politely pushed Oikawa away.

"BAHAHAH I CANT BELIEVE Y/N PUSHED OIKAWA AWAY" Hanamaki wheezed

Oikawa felt defeated and betrayed

"What are you doing here y/n-san?" Kindaichi asked as he went up to you

"She's probably waiting for Iwaizumi-san" Kunimi answered the question before you could

"Speaking of, there he is" Matsukawa pointed at the male, looks like he already changed into his school uniform

"I hope you didn't wait for too long" Iwaizumi held out one of his hands, asking for your bag so he could carry it

you gave him your bag and shook your head "Nope, I just got here"

"Oi, we're going ahead. See you guys" The tall male waved to his teammates and started walking

"Goodbye!!" You waved at the players and did your best catching up to Iwaizumi

"Its so obvious that they're dating" Watari broke the silence after Iwaizumi and y/n left

Kyoutani shookt his head "They're not dating"

"Ehhhh? how do you know Maddog-chan?" Oikawa asks but doesn't get a response from Kyoutani

"How do you know?" Yahaba looks at Kyoutani waiting for a response. "Because Iwaizumi-san told me" He says

Oikawa feels defeated

"Wanna stop at the convenience store? lets grab some popsicles, my treat" Iwaizumi breaks the silence, though it was a comfortable one

"Hmm.. Well if it's you who's treating then I cant say no right?" y/n chuckles

"And why is that?" Iwaizumi asks, not taking a single glance at you

"Its free food, who says no to free food?" y/n states out the obvious

soon they reached the store and had a small chat with the old lady who owns the store and continued walking with their popsicles

not all walks last forever, soon they found  themselves at y/n's house

y/n had to thank you and say goodbye

"Thank you for treating me today! let's walk home again at monday" y/n waves her hand and goes inside her home

with that Iwaizumi starts walking the path to his house

y/n was already home
Iwaizumi was already home
They were both home
They are their homes
