Ross: (Walks up to john) Hey John?
John: (looks at him) Yeah?
Ross: I was wondering if you could come to dinner with me and Laura to my house?
John: (raises his eye brow) For?
Ross: My mom wanted to meet both of you so that way she knew who I was dealing with...
John: Sure I will come, but what time is it?
Ross: 7:00 tonight
John: Okay I will be there!
Ross: (nods) Great! (turns around)
John: Oh, Ross!
Ross: (turns toward him) Yeah?
John: Can you get Laura and then come back here I have some news for both of you!
Ross: (nods and leaves)
(2 minutes later)
Raura: (walks in)
John: Okay I got a call from the people who run the competition for Tuesday! The competition and the schedules have been changed!
Laura: Changed how?
John: Instead of the competition being in 4 days on Tuesday...it was moved to Saturday in 2 days!
Raura: WHAT?!
Laura: We won't have enough time!
John: (nods) Yes we will, but we have a lot of practice to do!
Ross: (nods) Where is the competition?
Laura: New York
Ross: What that's thousands of miles away from here!
John: I know, the fact that we live in California?
Ross: (shakes his head) Not that, but how come no one told me about it?
Laura: (Shrugs) Never came to mind I guess?
Ross: Yeah thanks (sarcastic)
Laura: Do you guys want to get something to eat?
Ross: (nods) You want to join? (looks at John)
John: (nods) Sure
Ross: Let's take my car
Laura: (nods) Okay
John: Then lets get going then because we have a lot of practicing to do!
Laura: FOOD!!!! (Runs to Ross's car)
Ross and John: (look at each other and laugh)
(THE FAST FOOD PLACE)
Waitress: (walks up to their table and winks at Ross) Can I get something to drink for you?
Laura: Can I get a-
Waitress (lexie): I was talking to the hot blonde, now be quiet! (looks back at Ross) Now you?
Ross: (raises an eye brow)Coke
Lexie: (looks at John) You?
John: Iced Tea
Lexie: (writes it down) Okay and you (looks at Laura)
Laura: Pepsi (rolls her eyes)
Lexie: Whatever (walks away)
John: This is going to be a long visit
Raura: (nods)
Laura: You have no idea!
