NAPATINGIN SI KYLINE sa kapatid niyang si Kyle nang pumasok ito sa kusina habang humihikab.
"Morning, Kuya." Bati niya.
"Morning ..." Naghikab ang kapatid niya at nag-inat.
Napailing si Kyline. "Puyat ka na naman."
Kyle sighed. "Paanong hindi ako mapupuyat? Ako na naman ang gumawa sa mga trabaho na dapat sa boss ko."
Napailing si Kyline. "Personal Attorney ka niya, Kuya, at hindi proxy. Bakit? Ano bang inaatupag ng boss mo?" Tanong niya.
"Ano pa nga ba? Alam mo na ang sagot diyan." Sabi ni Kyle at umupo sa isang stool at nagtimpla ng kape.
Umismid na lang si Kyline. "Ang tamad naman pala ng boss mo, Kuya."
"Hindi naman." Pagdepensa ni Kyle sa boss at kapagkuwan ay ngumiwi, "minsan lang."
Kyline tsked and turned off the stove. She transferred the fried egg into the plate and after that she fried the bacon. One of her brother's favorite.
"So how are you and Ate Nat?"
Nat is Natasha. She just gave his brother's fiancee nickname. Ang haba ng pangalan nito, eh.
"We're fine." Kyle answered as he sipped his coffee. "We're very happy that we're getting married."
Ngumiti si Kyline. "You've been together for almost five years, kuya. I think it's time for you to settle down and i heard that Ate Nat is the one organizing the wedding."
Tumango si Kyle. "She wants to organize the wedding so i let her. It makes her happy. I'm helping her, i don't want her to be tired. You know her condition."
Natasha have a heart disease kaya palaging nakaalalay dito si Kyle kahit pa marami siyang ginagawa at kahit pa pagod sa trabaho.
"Yeah." Kyline replied and transferred the fried bacon into the plate and placed it on the table.
"Let's eat, Kuya."
"Are you going to visit her?" Kyle was referring to Kelly, their late sister.
Tumango si Kyline. "Yep."
"Sige, sabay na tayo. Natasha called me last night. Sasama daw siya."
Ngumiti si Kyline. "Let's eat, Kuya."
Nagsimula ng kumain ang magkapatid habang nag-uusap ng mga bagay-bagay.
Pagkatapos nilang kumain, they helped each other finishing everything that they need to finished in the kitchen.
They went to their own room.
After taking a bath, Kyline wear her favorite jeans and plain black shirt paired with flat sandals. She tied her hair into a half-bun and applied lip balm on her lips. She's not like the other woman who wear dresses when they go out.
Hindi rin siya gumagamit ng bag kapag lumalabas siya ng bahay maliban lang kung papasok siya siya sa school. Hassle lang 'yon para sa kaniya.
Pagkalabas niya ng bahay ay naroon na ang kapatid sa loob ng kotse nito at hinihintay siya.
"Sunduin natin si Natasha. Sa backseat ka na umupo." Sabi ni Kyle sa kapatid.
Kyline rolled her eyes. "Ano pa nga ba?" Sabi niya.
Tinawanan lang ni Kyle ang kapatid.
They passed nine houses inside the village before they reached Kyle fiancee's house. Nasa labas na si Natasha at hinihintay sila.
