The Dance Part 2

Bree's POV

Today is the dance. I'm torn. I'm excited but at the same time sad. I'm glad I'm going with Owen but I'm sad Chase is going with Danielle. I'm not going to let that ruin my school dance. I only have another year of high school. I'm 17. I Do my hair and put on my dress and shoes (pic attached) .I wear a little more makeup than usual. I look at the clock 2 minutes till Owen gets here. I hear the door bell ring. Probably Danielle. I sneak downstairs from the bathroom and peak to see who it was. I see Chase open the door and hug Danielle. Pft whatever, I don't even care. She looked really pretty no wonder Chase picked her. Whatever there's no use in tormenting myself. I walk back upstairs and grab my purse. I get my mascara and lip gloss. I walk down stairs quietly but my heels still tap. I try and sneak past them to get my phone from the lab. As I'm walking I hear Danielle yell my name. I cringe my face then turn to face them.

"Bree"Danielle says.

"Oh hi Danielle I didn't know you where here" I say" I wasn't trying to avoid you or anything" I say under my breath.

"What was that? "She asks

"I said its great you're taking my brother to the dance" I say. But Chase just stares at me checking me out. Ha I used the brother card on him take that Chase. Then Owen comes to the door.

"Hey is Bree....wow Bree you look stunning" he says and stares at me in awe.

"Thank you" I say and blush.

"You ready? "He asks

"Yeah I just need to get my phone from the lab-I mean basement" I say.

"Ok" he says and I go in the elevator. I grab my phone and go back upstairs. Chase and Danielle had already left. We drive to the dance. When I get in I see Leo with Janelle. Principall Perry needed Owen for the school mural so he went to her office.

"Hey guys "I say as I walk over to them.

"Hey Bree" Leo says

"Hi Bree " Janelle says and hugs me . Me and Janelle are good friends. Then Adam comes up to us.

"Wow Bree you look great" he says, "you do to" I say then Owen comes up to us.

"Hey" he says

"Hi" I say

"You want to dance?"he says I look over to the dance floor and see Danielle and Chase dancing.

"No thank you, maybe later" I say

"Come on Bree" he says pulling my hand onto the dance floor.

"Fine" I say then a slow song comes on. I put my arms around his neck. He puts his hands on my waist I put my head on his shoulder and close my eyes as we sway. I can't help but smile . It was my first slow dance.

}Chases POV {

I was dancing with Danielle she's so annoying and high maintenance. I see Bree dancing with Owen. He had his slimy disgusting arms around her waist and she had her arms around his neck. Her head on his shoulder . Her eyes were closed and she was smiling. Man that should be me. I get closer to her and saw how beautiful she looked. She then opened her eyes and saw me and Danielle. She just gave me a fake smile. I know when Bree is fake smiling were best friends. Owen whispered something to her then she laughed. What did he tell her? She then left.

"Hey Danielle I have to go to the bathroom" I lie and I follow Bree. She just goes to the bathroom. As she's walking out Trent sees her.

"Hey Brew you look hot" he says and stares at her in a wrong way.
