It was a lovely morning with cool breeze and birds chirping in the trees.  Sumedh was enjoying his jog and as he approached the lake in their massive garden he stood still and watched the misty waters. A pair of ducks were swimming in the lake making it more serene.  He jogged back home to find his brother Basanth going through the morning newspaper.

On looking at him his brother said "Hey Sumedh looks like you are in a good mood today ". Sumedh just smiled back.  He was always a man of few words. They both discussed a few things about the business world before getting ready for work.Sumedh wore a blue suit that day.  He loved the colour blue. As he was getting ready he heard his Aai's prayer bells. He knew he had to meet her.

Sumedh and Basanth prayed along with dad and Aathira and mom took the aarti and distributed them the offerings to God. They ate breakfast and their house help were busy serving all of them according to their taste. Though they were busy in their work life they always had their breakfast together. It was an unwritten rule in Agarwal's house. They were a happy family which went by the saying the family that prays together and eats together stays together.

Sumedh and Basanth left for work.  They have a huge office building in Avenue Bay. Sumedh drove his BMW super fast while Basanth was thinking about his wife Revathi who had gone to her home for a short stay.

As they reached their office they both went to their respective chambers. As Sumedh was going through the days meetings his employee informed that he had to interview a person who was shortlisted for the post of his PA. Sumedh didn't have much time but thought he would take the interview in between the breaks of his meetings.

Mallika's POV

I woke up early as it was an important day for me. As I was getting ready my phone rang and it was my best friend Tina who spoke
" Hey I just called to wish you all the best dear. I know it is your first interview but relax and try to give your best"
"Thanks a lot Tina." I replied while looking up one last time in the mirror to check out how I looked.  I was satisfied that I had put up a dignified look in my navy blue shirt and black skirt. Tina offered to drop me at the interview place but I insisted on going with my dad.

Dad was all set for office and we both sat in our car. During the travel I was nervously clutching my file but my dad made me at ease and he even cracked a joke and we both laughed along the journey.

He wished me luck and dropped me off. I checked in with the receptionist who asked me to go to second chamber and wait outside Mr. Sumedh's office. While waiting I thought about how important it was for me to get this job as we needed money to build the dream house and fulfill our late mother's dreams.

I was called inside the room and I was asked to wait again . As I stood there I checked the surroundings and it was definitely very extravagant. The chandelier on top was made up of small crystals which illuminated the room when sunlight fell on them. Just as I was immersed in the room and it's grandeur I heard someone come through another door to the office and I hastily stood up and out of my nervousness dropped my file.

When I picked up my file and looked up I saw one of the handsome man I have ever seen standing in front of me. He looked like a Greek God with a pair of hazel green eyes and curly hairs. Time just stood still for me....
